Any good Drs in the Sacramento area. Lap band

Anyone know of any good drs in the Sacramento area that have done Lap band patients?   And if not how do I find drs that have worked on patients with the Lap band in this area.   My dr is in another city so he recommends over there but I want someone closer.  Any advice.  Thank you

I have a lap band too and I just did a panni through insurance my PS is Great and in the city you can see  his work at my profile. And I must say now it looks great I will be posting pics soon  I am about 5 weeks now it is   looking  better and better!

Denise,  Your dr is in Sacramento?  It looks great.  Are you happy with it, what is the worst part?  Is there alot of pain?  explain the whole thing to me if you can.   How did you come to find this dr and did you do alot of research before you chose him?  Did he move your lap band port?  Thank you for any answers.   Wendy

my dr was a PS from UCSF when I had a hernis repair a couple years ago.. I knew then that i would follow him to his new office because he was leaving. He is in San Francisco and is a board  certified PS and I can say he is really really good from some pics that I have seen from a panniculectomy only. I chose not to do any muscle tightening  etc. at  my age I just wanted in and out. I am not ab tight but I have a shape  again and am extremly  happy. I am still careful and feel better still w/ a binder on. I was not in as much pain as thought when I came home also.  I have reserched some other Dr's  in area but I chose to make the commute to San Francisco I totally trust his judgement and  love from what I have seen . So get your own opinion  and this forum  is really helpful. Oh yea My PS did not move my port he is very familiar w/ lapband and my band moved down a little but it was high anyway. He was referred to me with my lapband dr at ucsf they did the hernia repair together .  On this panni  I was cut hip to hip and came home w/ 2 drains for about a week. Good Luck
