Things are finally turning around!!

Went to the doc today and finally got some good news...he was so pleased with the healing of my open incisions  that I don't have to go bac****il Thursday of next week.  I am 3 weeks post op from a thigh lift, arm lift and upper body lift and everything has healed up nicely except these thighs.  I have been going in for check ups every Monday and Thursday and always ended up having to get 2 - 4 areas re-stitched  at every single visit.   Not only did I not get any stitches today, he actually took 1 out!!!! 

I just had to share my news because I thought my legs would never heal.  I've learned that Patience is the key and no 2 people heal  the same !!

YAY! I knew the day would get here sooner or later! Let me know when you're gonna be there because I have a post op visit next Thursday too.

 glad you are better, I have had similar problems with my thighs but didn't get re-stitched. That might have helped me.

Do you have photos that you could share?

no, I haven't taken any photo yet cause the legs look so "funky".  I really don't want to remember this.  Now, I might take a few and post them.  The battery died on my camera and I've lot the charger so I gotta go buy new batteries first.

That's great. Sounds like you have an excellent Surgeon who is keeping a close watch to help you heal.

he is beyond great.....he is the best!    Absolutely wonderful aftercare and bedside manners!  He has called me everyday for the last 3 weeks to check on me, even on the weekends!  Couldn't ask for a nicer guy.
