Shout Out

I just want to give a shout out to my surgeon Dr. Mazaheri. He and his staff sent me flowers today, I thought that was so sweet!
I had an unscheduled post-op check with him yesterday because 2 of my 4 drains had been putting out very little, one of them had been since I got home from hospital. I have an area of swelling between my new cute belly button and my incision that I was concerned about. He tried stripping the 2 drains (#2 had a visible clot that had also been there since I got home from hospital) then tried flushing them with sterile saline. #2 was for sure clogged so he pulled it and not so much as a drop of fluid came out with the drain. The drain however did have a nice-sized blood clot occluding it. He decided to leave the other 3 drains in, put me in a binder and I will go back on Thursday to acess things. I just wanted to say how wonderful He and staff are. Even though they were so busy yesterday, they got me right in, were so sweet and accomodating and Dr.Mazaheri came in and out between rooms to sit and chat with me and my hubby while I was waiting. You really are treated like family at his practice. I have never experienced a doctors office quite like it. It's refreshing and comforting! I thank God everyday that He led me to Dr. M!
