Question about abdominoplasty & thigh lift
Hi everyone. I am new to this message board and was referred by a friend who had gastric bypass surgery, but is also on weigh****chers to maintain the weight. I did not have surgery, but have lost 100lbs on weigh****chers.
I had my first consultation with a ps last week and have been researching stuff like crazy on the internet. It seems like every website you pretty much get a different story. I hope that you guys can help me out since there really are no websites (that I have found) with message boards to get help.
I am going to have my first procedure done in November. I will be getting circumferential thigh lift and brachioplasty.
My second procedure will not be done till sometime next year which will be the abdominoplasty and bilateral thigh lift.
Can you give me any insight on these procedures? I know everyone is different with healing, etc., but I guess my nervousness comes from never having surgery before. The only thing I have ever done is had my wisdom teeth out!
Has anyone had the abdominoplasty and thigh lift at the same time? That is my biggest concern. I read on the websites that when you have the thigh lift not to walk too much and keep legs elevated, but with the abdominoplasty you need to get up and move around. Is it unsafe to have both done at the same time?
Thank you for taking the time to read this long post and answer whatever you can!

I had several procedures done at the same time including the LBL or circumferential thigh lift, brachioplasty, abdominoplasty and thigh lift. It is important to walk around to prevent blood clots and help the circulation flow; however, when you are sitting, it is important to keep your legs elevated. You can still walk around with the thigh lift. Lin

Every surgeon I met with recommended NOT doing the stomach and thighs at the same time. It's too much disruption to the blood flow.
Originally I wanted to do them at the same time but listened to my surgeons advice and did not. I just had my inner thighs done (long incision) and I cannot imagine having my TT done at the same time...it would have been too much. I'm glad I trusted my surgeon
