Had my tt on 2/15, my feet and legs have become really swollen. I asked the doc about this and they do not seem too concerned. At what point should I start to worry. I have been elevating them when laying in the recliner which is still quite a bit.

Where did my finally beautiful feet and skinny legs go????

Let me know any thoughts and how long you if you had this problem.

thanks!!

I didn't notice any swelling in my legs or feet after LBL.  But, I was pretty much flat on my back with feet slightly raised, on the couch.  The doctors have the experience and if he is not too concerned, then I wouldn't worry.  I'm sure you have a follow up appointment coming up with him soon.  In the meantime, get out of the recliner and onto the couch for a while and see if it makes a difference.
Good luck.

When I went for my checkup yesterday he asked me if I was having swelling anywhere else.  I said that I wasn't, but he said that if I did start swelling the compression hose would help.
You are just two days ahead of me.  Aren't you sooo ready to be better!

There is a point when, following TT/pannicwhatever, anything lower seems to swell absurdly.  This happened to me at three weeks and continued intermittently for six months...  still does now and then, without explanation.

Suddenly I had thunderthighs.

I comes, it goes, and comes, and goes, and then at some later date, stops.

I don't know why this happens.  Apparently it's pretty normal.  But blah!

Good luck!
