It's got to be Sunday somewhere! What's new?

I've been lazy. Just reading not posting lately. I'll be right back.

Just excuses none of them good ones. I have been so busy all summer and I just haven't felt much like posting. 

In just 10 days I am scheduled to have a medial thigh lift. I am anxious about the surgery probably because I know a little too much about it. Having had a lower body lift 4 years ago I know about what all is involved.

The end result I hope will make that part worth it. My surgery wil lbe in Seattle a 4 hour drive from here. I'll spend one night at the U of Washington Medical Center and then a few days at my son's house close by.

The summer has flown by with our son's wedding on July 3rd. We've spent a lot of time with the grandchildren and little time here at home.

I enjoy reading about you all each day. Hope you are all making the most of each day.

Karen...great to see you first this this morning....I know how much you wanted that thigh lift.....hope it all goes well. Nic starts college in about a week or so....we are all so excited for him!!!

Nan....any more news on Morgan? Still praying for her and all of you!

I am soooooo excited. We are getting a lady to clean the house. This is a big house and I just can't do it anymore. I don't like climbing up to clean ceiling fans and high shelves and such. Terri  will be able to do the deep cleaning that I was not able to do. Terri is a friend of my daughter's and mine. She is a very thorough cleaner. I am so relieved as it has been difficult for me to keep up with all. She has several other clients and I have heard good things about her cleaning. Terri also does photography and did all of Nic's senior pics....they are awesome!!

Time to take Kippley (dog) outside she keeps coming to me and running to the door. She is getting impatient with me!!

The other great news is I am going to Minnesota for a long weekend this next weekend. I am leaving Friday and will be back Monday. I need to see my friends!!!!!

Oh Connie I am sorry. Morgan got out of the hospital on Tuesday night. On Friday she was back in. Her counts were at almost 0. No fever, but they put her on antibiotics as a precaution. She did this last time she had chemo too, only then she got very sick. Don't know how long she will be in, or when she will have more chemo. It all depends on her counts. Yhank you for asking. I did post a while back, if you want updates at home go to facebook, look for Morgan Horten & friend her. Just tell her mom you are a friend of mine. Have a great day, Nan

Hi Karen and my OFF family to follow:

I was so busy yesterday, I never did get a chance to post. I thought I'd get a spare moment between the two papers I edit on Saturday to post, but I got a surprise when I came in to work: we were shorthanded on the one paper I sometimes work on because someone called in sick, so I was busier than a one-armed paperhanger, doing parts of that sports section, plus three pages of the other sports section I knew I'd be doing. Luckily, I wasn't doing the whole sports section: it's 7 pages ... that would have been 10 pages. It was bad enough doing seven pages total in seven hours.

And I was feeling crappy Saturday, too ... I woke up with a headache and general achiness ... fibro flare. I could barely walk, but it was a Saturday, so there was no way I was going to call in sick. You have to be literally dead to call in sick on a Saturday ... it's too busy. I can't believe how many people call in sick here on a Saturday. So in I went ... the headache went away eventually but the aches were still there when I left. I took a muscle relaxer when I got home and things are better, but still not good.

Hope tonight is better ... the guy that was out last night promised to be in today.

I wanted to tell everyone the good news: My brother Gary got a job. Well, a part-time job, but a job is a job. It's handling out information for a company at home shows. For a PT job, it pays very well. It'll get him out of the house a couple days a week at least.

That is the wierdest thing ever!!! I didn't post here but I did get a notification that someone had responding to "my post" here. That is a terrible glitch to have and hope OH corrects it soon!

Hey Karen and everyone and all you sleeping beauties
I was one but OH NO had to get up and get ready for the world :) 
Actually getting ready for church in a few so I can go tell MY GOD and yours how greatful I am for all he does for us .
I spent the whole day yesterday deep cleaning this house and my sweetpea did the yard ,flowers and cars ...Then we went to eat come HEALTHY GRILLED chicken and worked out at the gym last night ..was a busy productive day ..
I hope all of you had some joy in your world yesterday and even more today ..
Karen the medial isnt too too bad,,,,been there and all was ok ,,,since you have a lift it should be a piece of cake missy :) 
Eileen , happy for your brother ,,,  any job is better than no job and I know he has to be happy too..
Ok ladies have to start my beauty plan and get ready ...   Got to get that paint roller out .
