Afternoon OFF family!!!

Well its really cooled down here now after all that heat and humidity we had!!! 73* and a nice breeze!!!! :-)

Went to the hospitl this morning for my bone density test and also my mamogram. Same woman did my mamogram as last year and mentioned to me that my girls looked smaller from the screens of last year and asked if I had lost weight. I said yes I had lost some more. She said great!!! :-) She mentioned her sister was coming to see her from Michigan and this would be the first time she had seen her since she had WLS 2 years ago and wasn't sure if she would know her anymore! I said she will be in for a nice shock!!! LOL Anyhow I thought my "girls" looked smaller to me and that my bra cups looked like they were too big...sooo looks like I should be looking for a new bra or two again...sighs. Might take a ride to Dillards and see if my friend is working that got me the deal BYGO free last time is working and see if there is another deal like that coming up soon. If not Macy's has a buy 2 get 1 free going on now.

Rick made pancakes and bacon for supper last night...OMG were they ever good!!! BUT...they sure didn't like me later on!!!! Gas and the runs!!!!!!!! OMG!! I told Rick I never wanted them again...EVER!!!!

Woman at work yesterday asked me if I would like to go to a concert friday night with her!!! Tim Magraw (sp) She has front row seats!!!! OMG!!! Sure  will go!!! Now I just have to find someone to cover my shift for an hour or so so I can eave work early!!! I thought I got out at 330 but its 430. DAM!!! So hopefully I can get out early so we can leave to get there through the traffic and road construction!!! This will be awesome!!! So MAYBE I just found a friend at work!!!! :-)

Got a beef roast in the oven today seeing as its nice and cool...starting to smell the place up...yummmm!!! Need to go find a few cards to send out for birthdays back home in Michigan. One for my sister and one for my youngest son. So best get going here...Thoughts and prayers for those that need them!!!

 Judy...I have seen Tim MaGraw in concert several times. Once I saw him and his wife Faith Hill together. We had seats right up front...they were awesome!! If you think he looks great on TV wait until you see him in concert.....Damn that man is HOT!!!!!! But then Faith is just gorgeous!!!
Take a drool towel...LOL

Connie I am not a fan of Tim...lol never was...lol he has maybe a couple songs that I really liked...so hopefully he sings them tomorrow!!! But I am sure after I see him LIVE I will become a fan...lol. Love Faith!!!! Have a couple of her CD's. Just hope this woman doesn't hit on me like they are telling me now...she "swings" both ways they tell me...OMG!!!

Good morning Shirley and everyone.... 

Shirley...I couldn't do all that baking....I would eat it...I know I would!!

Nothing awesome going on here. I decided to do laundry on Thursday's instead of cleaning and laundry on Friday's. I just get too tired out. Dividing it up will help.

Spoke with Nic this morning. We are missing him, his loud music, loud BUG/truck, and all his crazy loud friends coming and going!! He talked to Grace....she misses him so much. He told her he is staying at Aunt Carrie's tonight and will see her tomorrow....she just squealed with delight!!! Sounds like he is having a great time....spending time with both grandpa's (my  exes)  and other relatives.

I am feeling so much better today. I am finally healing....bruises are almost gone. My Fibromyalgia kicked in with these crazy weather changes but that is better too. I might actually go out this weekend!!

Hi Shirley and my OFF family:

I made spaghetti sauce from scratch awhile back ... and I mean from scratch ... even the tomatoes (well, I did use canned tomato paste and sauce) ... but I had farmers market Roma tomatoes and green peppers and onions; then I had Italian sausage and ground chuck (a little greasy with the ground chuck). But it was good stuff ... made a lot of it and then ate it for awhile, froze the rest. Made it in the slow cooker ... mmmm, it really stunk up the house with garlic smells. In fact, I'm having some leftovers today.

Got up later than I wanted and now I'm running behind. Not much going on today ... have to work tonight. Hope it's a better night tonight than Tuesday.

We had a storm last night and some much needed rain, although not enough. But it cooled down a bit ... well, down to 90 right now. Maybe Annette's naked rain dance was working down here. I sure didn't do one ... People would run and hide.

Well, I need to get in the shower and have some lunch. Have a good day.

Hi ya'll.
I still make my own spaghetti sauce. I make a huge batch and freeze it. Half of it I add chili powder, kidney beans and stuff, and voila I have chili.
Last big barbq at our son's I used refrigerated cheesecake filling from a tub in a store bought graham cracker crust. EVERYONE noticed and I am to never do that again!
Went to Chili's for lunch. Such a disapointment! I love thier chicken enchilada soup, I always ask them to give me very little chicken and no cheese on the top. I also asked for chips with side of sour cream. I got a plate of nachos coveted in chili and melted cheese with a side of guac. Sent it back, told her the chili was too spicy for me, I just wanted some chips with sour cream. Next plate was nachos covered in melted cheese and my side of sour. Sent that back again and asked for a BOWL of chips, I'd keep the sour cream. Also asked for a cup of ho****er. She brought it in a glass. Finally got it in a cup. But never got the refill I asked for. My DH's mashed taters were too cold to even melt butter. Next time I want their soup, I'll just go get it to go.

Afternoon, everyone!

We are home again.  Long drive today.  My puppies were so happy to see us!  We were only gone 3 days. They are REALLY going to miss us next week when we go to Canada.  We'll be gone for 7 days then.

Spent the whole drive home talking about Canada vacation and trying to plan our days, our clothes, etc.  I've got a LOT to do the next 2 days, that's for sure. 

My new hard drive came for my laptop, so we've got to try and do some computer repairs tonight.  I really, really want to take my laptop with me to Canada.  We'll see how it goes.

I don't think I lost a single pound this past week.  This is a very long stall.  But, on the bright side, I didn't gain any weight either, right? 

I'll have to read and catch up on everyone's posts from the past few days.  I missed y'all!!!
