To infinity....and beyond! (the quickest way to lose heart!) Posted: 10 Aug 2011 02:52 AM PDT I distinctly remember the moment when I realized that if I always wanted to maintain my fitness I would need to keep working out....forever. Depressing. Especially since I was just finishing a difficult workout and instead of feeling successful I felt exhausted. At that point, the prospect of future fitness stretched ahead of me like an uncrossable abyss. (It was dismal, I tell ya!) |
For me I have to think to myself I can lose 5 pounds, then do it, then reset my goal for another 5 pounds. Little goals are much easier to achieve that way.
For me I love to exercise, I love to go to the gym and do exercise in a class vs just going and exercising by myself. I'm truly a "People Person". I'm always the crazy lady that hoots and hollers or groans in a class room and making everyone else laugh. Some people are really intense in a classroom setting. Me? I'm yelling at people to come join the fun!
