Tuesday...What's Up?
Thanks Margaret, I did overcome a lot with the challenges that were presented to me here and now my biggest challenge is just letting people be who they are and trying to keep my skills up so that perhaps one day I can find a position where I'm actually of more service.
This client services rep job (fancy words for receptionist) is not for me, it's lonely and I'm very socially inclined and I mostly get paid to answer a few calls, greet a very few people who come into the office, set up breakfasts, luncheons when we have meetings and/or clients in, but mostly what I do is spend time online researching different things I want to know about. . . I am immensely grateful to have this position I do, however, I still miss my old job where I felt useful and wanted by those I worked with.
Luckily I've won over the people I needed in order to still be here, but I am sooooooooo bored most of the time. Hoping that will change with the new guy I work with, who is still a bit wet behind the ears, but he likes me and I'm hoping as he gets busier, he will give me more to do and I feel purposeful. In the meantime, I continue to seek out and hope for something I can do to give me a sense of purpose, as well as an opportunity to make a living doing it. . .
I do appreciate your kind words to me and being grateful is the key element in my life today.

Good afternoon all. Trish, thinking of you & your job situation. I really hope it improves.
Yesterday my DH & I went to the 4 H fair, alone!! Just did some walking around, had some of an elephant ear. I know, not good, but it tasted so good.
I think we are donr with company for 2 weeks. I love them all, but I need a break.
Morgan got out of the hospital last night. Not sure when her next chemo is, have to see how long it takes for her counts to come back up. I did talk to her yesterday for a minute. She wants me to send her turkey rollups. I told her we would make them when I get there. She sounded so tired. I know thats to be expected.
Well today need to start another bank account for her. We are trying to raise money for any co-pays & travel expences.
Have a wonderful all. Praying for all those hurting, it's a b**** getting old sometimes.
