Judy,
Thanks for your kindness.  I'm not holding my breath, but I would be happy if it did happen. Owning one"s own business can take over one's life.
I went straight to FB after finishing up with OH. Bandit is soooo cute. Love the green bow. My Dad would get upset when the dogs came to visit with bows or ribbons in there hair. We also had enough bandannas to make a quilt from them. My first dog, Chin, had a sweatsuit that had long sleeves. Perfect for snowy days. Never able to find them again for the next three.    Mag

Well he hasn't had a bow in his hair since then...LOL they put a bandana around his neck which he hates!!! As for any sweaters or coats...Bandit would rather freeze his nuggies off then wear one but I make him when it is really freezing out!!!

Hope you are doing ok tonight...thinking about you and hope things get better for you soon!!!! Yes owning your own business really takes up alot of your time so maybe he will call again in the near future...

Mags,

Sorry to read about the end of your relationship, that is never easy, no matter how long you've been in one, so don't downplay your feelings, just look forward to what and where living life healthier will take you.

Hugs, Laureen

Mag...sorry your guy decided to end your relationship. I am sure there is a special someone out there just for you!! You are a great person!!!

I decided to take a break a few weeks ago. I had dates set up with three different guys. They had been asking me out for a long time. I contacted them and told them it had nothing to do with them just that I just need my own space. I just plain don't have time to date right now....just too tired out most of the time. The little time I do have I want to be alone!!

Have a nice day...we are here for you....hugs....connie d

 Good morning Laureen and everyone....

Congratulations Laureen ...wow...24 years....excellent!!

Nothing too much happening here....same as everyday. I bought a couple rotisserie chickens and I want to take it off the bones so we can use it for salads and such. The dishwasher needs emptying and floors need sweeping.....etc..

Wishing you all a great day. Prayers for those in need.

Love and hugs to all....connie d

Good Morning Laureen!
Congratulations on your 24 years of sobriety! You are an inspiration to all of us!
Mag- I'm so sorry that your relationship with Steve ended. Breaking up with someone is hard- especially when you want to keep it but he doesn't. I feel your pain- I've been there too, and it feels lousy on many levels. My motto is- cry as much as you need to cry,for as long as you need to cry, as loudly as is necessary to cleanse your soul of the pain. Get therapy if you feel you need it. Then live your life for all it's worth!
My life is still revolving around my Mom... today I have a social gathering (love those!) and then I'll run to see Mom for a while. I have a little flag that I put up whereever she is living (hospital or home) that has a green frog with googly eyes and says "Welcome to my pad." She loves it and I know she will notice it. She's back in her "fog" again... I will be patient and hope for some more days of clarity like I got last week. My brothers missed it- I told them to hurry over, but they live further away than I do. Whenever she "comes back" it reassures me that there is still quite a bit of my Mom "in there", it's just hidden for a while. It comes back like a little present to keep me attentive. I am somewhat nervous about the money piece of this puzzle. I know my Mom will qualify for Medi-Cal if they ever finish processing it (the delay is up to 6 months or more because of state budget cuts), but in the meantime- I've heard that older people can get discharged into the street. I just can't imagine what we would do then. Oh well- enough of that.
It's almost time for me to go. I think I'll start a load of laundry before I leave. We are leaving for a week at Lake Tahoe on Sunday. I sorely need the vacation, but I need to get ready. Happy Wednesday to you all!

Hi Laureen and my OFF family:

Congrats on your 24 years! That's really great.

I didn't sleep all that well; had a lot of reflux last night and woke up with a fibro flare ... back, knees and head, plus I'm sleepy. Not really feeling very good. I have this phone interview at 1 p.m. and want to make a good impression but not in a good mood.

My brother Gary has a job interview today, too, at a big electronics store called HHGregg that's opening in the Chicago area. Hope it works out. He needs something to do. He has been unemployed since October 2009.

Anyway, hope all is well. Have a good day.
