Julia, I just want to give you a big hug, but I don't want to hurt your back. So sorry you are going through this.
My dad died at 62; my mom was 60 when he died and she's still living. She never remarried. I know my dad internalized a lot and waited to take care of his health until things were too far gone ... so his sons have learned to get their checkups and take care of their health (daughters, too ... cancer and diabetes runs in on both sides of the family). I think men often don't take care of their health, unless prodded by their women. My mother used to push my dad to get his checkups, but by the time he did, it was too late.
Vent all you need to ... you need an outlet somewhere.

Well, I'm back in the no sleep mode again. Since I got up Wednesday morning I've only slept 8 hours. I told Ellen I can't cope with this much longer. A non-engaged brain is a dangerous thing especially in me. lol I hate to use sleep aids but I guess it's time to take something. It is nice to watch the sun come up over the mountains. It's a very quiet time of the day.
The forecast is for rain this weekend but so far it's just a other beautiful day in paradise. Storms move in really fast here so it can still happen. We had nickel and quarter size hail with our last storm. Weather is soooo strange.
