It's Friday, what are y'all doing?

Morning Eileen, OFFr's,

TGIF!  sorry you're having issues with sleeping, it's probably all the unhappiness over your job situation plaguing you, what can I say, been there, lots of struggles with this current job, just kept at it because I knew a bad job was better than no job at all and lately, since the people who made my life miserable here have left, things are better, still would rather be at my old job or living on lotto winnings, but grateful every day to have someplace to go, where I can get by and manage to keep the wolves away for one more month. . .  hope you get some solid sleep soon.

I am here at work, at the moment it is quiet, but that will probably change in a bit as there are only two secretaries in the office today, me and another and there is some stuff going on here on Sunday and Monday, so it might be a busy afternoon, which is fine considering it will make the time fly by and then I am having dinner with my good friend Shelli, have no particular plans for the weekend, so we'll see what I wind up doing.

Hope you all have a good day and wishing those of you having life challenges, peace and strength to get through them. . .

Laureen

Enjoy your birthday, Connie. Hope it's a great one. I know moving to Iowa has been a little difficult for you, but I know your grandchildren love having you there, and your daughter is grateful for your help.
(Think of this as my toast to you.)

Lost a long and too exhausted to redo.
Sober 249 days and so proud of me. Today really tested my resolve and belief in ME...but I am dedicated to staying, being, living, existing in this world I live in as a sober person
Suffice it to know I really don't exist. Original birth certicate questioned by FL DMV since it is CERTIFIED, EMPOSSED WITH A STAMP SEAL, AND NOTARIZED, BY THE CATHOLIC CHURCH, not the city of Hartford. Too depressed to push on today, especially after a horrific visit to BOA to deposit my offical SS check into hubby's account. Bank manager saw the desperation, fear, and pleading in my eyes as hubby raged on. She bent the rules and let me sign over check into his account.
So prayers to all. Accepting prayers from all...need them to fight on. Glad it is weekend.

Monica,

You are going through the most incredible battle with this dumb ID stuff!  Every day I read your posts, I just shake my head in disbelief.  Geez, what do they want from you?  I'm really sorry that this is getting you down, my friend.  Do NOT let it undermine all the good work you have done this year!  I promise you, giving in to the despair you are feeling right now will not fix the problem.

Now, believe it or not, one day you will look back on this period in your life and laugh about it.  Yes, you will!  It's so unbelievable that it IS funny--just not so much to you right now.  So take a break from the battle right now.  It's the weekend and you can't fight city hall on a Saturday.  Go to the pool, read your books, play with Yoda, and LET IT GO FOR NOW.

Praying for you.  It will all come right in the end.  Have faith.
