Thursday roll call
Good Afternoon OFFr's,
Margaret, sounds like you are really embracing and enjoying exercise, wish I could say the same, but I am doing my share of it to aid loss of my regain... hope your back feels better. . .
I got up at 4:45 this morning and got out the door by 5:10, stopped for gas and just as I was about to get on the highway, I realized that I was wearing my flip flops, which are not really a recommended footwear for exercise. . . but it was too late to go back, I did remember that I keep a pair of sneakers at my desk, so I stopped in before going to the gym, it cost me less time then going all the way home again, did a 5k on the elliptical in just under 44 minutes and worked off about 425 calories in the process. . .got myself showered, dressed and to work by 7:45 and here I sit, had a few things to take care of and right now I am looking forward to 4 o'clock coming. This evening is my AA homegroup meeting, which should be sooooo much fun, as it is not air conditioned and we are in the midst of a heatwave, hoping the rain they are talking about comes and cools things off some. . .
Well that about sums up my very boring life. . .
Wishing you each a good day and peace and strength to get through the rough spots . . .

Carla, it's probably one of those colon cleanse powders.....I don't think we are supposed to take them with the malabsorption issues we have. Probably why it made you sick.
I've had so much energy the last couple days -- working outside and really enjoying it.
It's nice here today, only to get up to around 80 deg. and humidity isn't bad, finally closed up the house a bit ago tho' as it starts to warm up when the sun gets in the west and my house faces west.
Think I'm gonna lay down and rest for a while -- my eye lids are drooping.....LOL

Done! Your Ticker:
Hi Margaret and my OFF family:
I'm really getting on here late. Couldn't sleep last night ... was up til 4 a.m. Back and knee hurt, tried everything to get them comfortable (pills, ice, etc.) ... I ended up started a new book and read a lot to try to get myself to sleep. So I slept til after noon. I just finished my morning protein shake and now am having my coffee. I think I'm just going to take a shower and get dressed for work and pick up a Subway sandwich on the way. I'm still filled from the protein shake.
Anyway, yesterday was uneventful. I cleaned up the kitchen a bit; did the dishes from my Sunday baking and filled up the dishwasher, ran that. I had another explosion ... dropped a Corelle plate and it shattered on the floor, so I had to go outside to the laundry room (yes, the laundry room is off the patio) and get the broom to clean up all the little pieces. A couple landed in Juliette's food bowl, so I had to inspect that carefully. Then I had to get the vacuum cleaner out to pick it all up because the dustpan didn't do the job. What a mess.
Watched two really great ballgames last night ... both went into extra innings, very exciting.
Well, that's my exciting. Off to work again tonight. Then off tomorrow. I hate split days off. Have a good one.

Hi Margaret and all OFF peeps,
I over slept this morning, didn't get up until 9:45AM. Went to sleep about 2 AM. It was a great sleep, but feel like my brain won't engage. Good thing I don't do a dangerous job. lol. What's interesting; when I was sleeping 2 or 3 hours a night I wasn't as tired as I am now that I've been sleeping regular hours for a week. Can anyone explain that?
I've read everyone's post and hopefully will answer more this evening. Right now I need to exercise and drink fluids. It's 2PM and I don't even feel like eating lunch. Changing the exercises into two half hour sessions.
Hugs to all, Mag
