Hi Trish and everyone,

Trish,  It sounds like the party was a big success with everyone. Hope you and Eileen can get some much needed rest soon. I have sleep pretty well for a change. The last 3 nights I have slept at least 6 hours.

Not much going on here today. I exercised 20 minutes 2 times yesterday. My left knee really hurts, but other than that I'm happy. Used a video tape which moves a lot faster than my PT did. I'll need to improve the time to a total of one hour but that will take some time.

Thanks for being here. You all bless me every day.    Mag

Afternoon all, sober 243 days and so proud of me.
Up early, off to a wonderful Mass and sermon. Hightway closed to ALL traffic both ways. Cars directed off on ON ramps, what a mess. Glad we could see the roadway and use local roads. Prayers for all.
Came home and off to pool. Spent almost 3 hours working my legs and back, reading and visiting. Gravity does suck upon leaving the pool. Back at RV for a few hrs with Yoda snuggles. Band coming in later so we let our pool stuff there. Cute parade of golf carts, bikes, and walker celebrating 4th. Still trying to decide on whether we will go to fireworks tomorrow night. Depends on weather and Yoda being left alone in RV for 3-4 hrs.
Made broiled lobster tails (on sale), fresh FL corn on cob, and filets for dinner last night. Everything purchased at huge discounts....delicious. Hubby & I did our kitchen dance well and everything cooked to perfection.
Happy and feeling well, but my right eyelid is so swollen and drooping over edge. Really affects my vision. Got to ask the doctor to act on this sooner than later. Tried using scotch tape and it does work holding up the lid.
You all sound pretty great today. Happy for Sue. Wishing I was a Gchild of grammylew's I want her cooked goodies.
Hug, Monica

Hello everyone!

We're finally home!  We were just too tired to make the drive yesterday after doing all that cleaning up.  So we waited and drove home today.  6 long hours. And it was over 100 F in my house!  Whew!  The AC is finally starting to catch up.

Just got out of a long soak in a chin-high bubble bath!  After 2 weeks at the lakehouse with only a shower, I was dying for a nice long soak in my garden tub!

Got dinner in the oven.  Bedtime can't come soon enough for me tonight.  Tomorrow morning, got to get up and take DH to Houston.  Sigh.  Another 5 hours in the car.  I don't know if you all know the song, "I Saw Miles and Miles of Texas", but that's my theme song this week!

Timer is buzzing, so I'd better go.

Love you all!

 Vickie
