We bought the spray & gel bottles on a special of $25.00 at a huge pet celebration party. It is called
Petzlife Oral Care. You can buy it online or maybe at a local pet store.
At first, @ the first month I used it daily, spray one day, gel the next. I make sure Yoda's food  & water is picked up, set the timer for 1/2 to insure he doesn't "wash" it off. I rub the gel in on the gums and teeth. Almost all his tartar buildup is gone. Very good results.

Good morning everyone!

I'm a little sad today.  It's our next to last day here at Hilltop (the name we gave our lakehouse), and I've got to start the process of cleaning up/packing up.  Love to come here, hate to go home.

DH is still banging away on the bath remodel, but he promised to shut it down early.  We can't possibly fini**** this time anyway.  We're supposed to have another date night tonight, and I'm ready to have a little fun.  We are going to Gruene (pronounced "green"), TX, for some shopping, dinner, and live music.  I love to go shopping in Gruene!  So many antique stores and quaint shops.  We'll have dinner at the old Gristmill on the banks of the Guadalupe River.  It's open air, so it will be warm, but the beer will be cold!  LOL!

Afterwards we'll walk over to Gruene Hall, the oldest dancehall in Texas, which is saying something.  When I was in college, we used to go dancing there sometimes.  George Strait played there many nights, but of course, we didn't KNOW he was George Strait back then!  In fact, George and I were in the same college together at the same time.  And he worked on a ranch just a few miles down the road from my boyfriend's ranch.  Oh, the opportunities I missed to meet King George in person!

Anyway, tonight one of my very favorite Texas artists is playing at Gruene Hall and I'm all excited about going and listening to some really good Texas music tonight.  Don't know if I can get hubby to do a two-step with me or not tonight.  His hip bothers him, and I understand that.  And my bad ankle isn't what it used to be either.  So we might just sit and listen, but it will be fun anyway.

Okay, much to do today, so I'd better get to it!

Love you all!

Good Noon OFF-

Have been up pedaled my thirty minutes, mowed the lawn, showered and soon I will start driving to Bangor to attend a support group meeting for WLS.

I've been having some weird dreams over the past week.  I don't think my loaner CPAP machine is properly adjusted but can't get that fixed until next week.  Last night's dream was amusing not scary and I wish I could remember more of it because it would make a great short story.

Went for PT yesterday on my wrist.  Apparently I have inflamation of the tendon sheath, not tendonitis.  I'm wearing a new splint and will have ultrasound and anti-inflamatory treatment for 8 sessions.  Hopefully, my I can take care of this attitude will not result in a chronic condition.  Time will tell.

Well, everyone enjoy your day.  I'm off to Bangor, 80 miles, for a support group meeting.

Wow, 80 miles for a support group, and I whine if \I have to drive cross town, a very small town, to get to work.
I need to learn from you and Laureen and get off the couch and get my butt in gear.  I admire you.

Good morning Patricia and everyone....

Only have a minute to check today.....I will try to check in again later.
Off to get the cleaning and laundry done....UGH

Sounds like most of you have great plans for the weekend. Keep safe and have fun!!

We haven't got much planned as of yet. Nic was going to enter his VW Bug in a car show but has decided he isn't  going too.  Grace is going to leave with her dad tomorrow. Nic doesn't want to go there either. They are going to Kansas to see their other grandma. They will be back Monday late afternoon. I know we will take Grace to the fireworks for sure!! Nic and I may make a quick run up to MN to get the rest of my things....not 100% sure yet. We would only go for the day.

Wishing you all a great day. Many prayers for so many in need.

Love and hugs to all...connie d

Hi Trish and my OFF family:

I got going early this morning before it got too hot ... it's 2:30 now and 98 degrees ... feels like 106 ... ugh! I'm off today, had some running to do that I didn't get done on Wednesday, so like I said, I got going early. Went to Starbucks, got my iced coffee, then to CVS for a bunch of stuff. Today is the day you get your quarterly extrabucks earnings ... I had $12.50 to spend. I actually spent $110 at CVS, but only paid $64 something ... pretty cool, huh? Then I was off to the farmers market; got some homemade salsa, a bunch of tomatoes, an onion and I'm ready to make homemade spaghetti sauce from mostly scratch ... I will use some canned sauce but everything else is from a garden. Not using canned tomatoes. Just have to cut things up. Then, to the grocery store for a few things.

Finally, home, laundry, lunch and the Crosstown Classic, Part Two (Cubs-White Sox). So far, the Sox are trailing 3-2. ... booo! I'm tired already. Didn't sleep all that well last night.

Well, enough rest, I think; I need to get that sauce going. Have a good one. I'm working all weekend (except for today).

I'm coming in last today.....worked this morning, then paid bills, and ran uptown to mail stuff, and pick up my dish from the potluck we had at work.  I made a strawberry/blueberry pretzel dessert -- no one knew it was made with s/f jello, splenda on the berries, and low fat cream cheese and lite cool whip......there weren't even any crumbs left in the dish!!!

I am off wor****il next Wednesday.  Will clean tomorrow morning and do a load of laundry.  Sunday morning is church, then sis and I are going to take a short road trip, and stop for lunch somewhere.  She has another engagement at 5 p.m. so it will be a quick trip.  Monday I have no plans, or Tuesday either.  Will probably read and/or watch movies.  Going to try to get on the bike each day except Sunday.  It sure has made a difference in how much stronger my legs are.

Keeps thundering but so far no rain -- we could really use some.  I will have to water my roses if it doesn't rain soon.

Hope everyone has a safe and happy 4th.

Pat R.

Cindy and Trish -- I actually just Googled "Strawberry Pretzel Dessert" and used that recipe -- lots of them come up.  I  just tweaked it by using s/f jello, low fat cream cheese, lite cool whip, and splenda where it called for sugar.  I used fresh strawberries and blueberries instead of the frozen berries, and only put about 1/3 c. splenda on them because they were nice and sweet.  The bad part of the recipe is the pretzel crust which calls for 1 1/2 sticks of butter -- will have to test using less next time I make it or maybe use Can't Believe It's Not Butter instead.  I did use regular sugar in the crust.....only calls for 3 tbsps.

I actually did a recipe and a half since I was taking it to work.  Regular recipe will serve 12 nicely.
