Hi y'all it's Tuesday
Good morning Eileen and all,
Not much new to report here this morning. Still working on the bath remodel. Hubby decided yesterday that before we lay the new tile, we need to finish the ceiling and the the walls. Okay by me. As long as we're making progress, I'm happy.
I had a little sick tummy yesterday. I had tried a McDonald's sausage biscuit yesterday morning on our way to Bulverde. I think that was the culprit. Got a headache and my tummy hurt. Is that dumping syndrome? I've noticed that I don't handle fats very well.
Anyway, I finally recovered. We took the boat out on the lake around 6 p.m. It was lovely. The weekends are very crowded on the lake, but the weekdays are nice. And evenings on the lake are the best! We stayed out from 6 to 8 p.m., then came home. I made boiled shrimp and oven roasted veggies for dinner. Yum.
This afternoon we are planning to go into San Antonio. Going to stop at daughter's house and help her hang the swing Benny got for his birthday. (Why his daddy can't do this, I don't know!) Then we are headed on down to the Riverwalk for dinner out. Part of my promised birthday celebration from earlier this month. I hope my ankle cooperates! I'm still gimping around on it. But it feels a bit better this morning.
Gotta go! Hubby is having coffee out on the front deck and I believe I will join him with my water and pills.

Thanks, Connie! It just does this from time to time. I broke it 10 years ago, but sometimes it will swell and ache. Don't know why. Neither did the doctor, so there's not much to do about it but grin and bear it. It's definitely feeling better today. That's good, because I plan to walk around the Riverwalk tonight!

Good mornign everyone.
I am just working today and then have to pick my car up from service. Yesterday I took it in for an alignment and discovered that the junk on my garage floor was steering fluid and transmission fluid leaking out. Not good. So needless to say the bill was a bit more than anticipated, by the time they worked on both of those. The alignment paled by comparison! Anyway, I got a free rental car for a day. But lesson learned - pink liquid on the garage floor is not a good sign. The good side is that we got this car a couple of years ago on ebay - for a great price. It has passed all of its inspections and needed no work at all, so the overall cost of keeping it going works out to far far less than a car payment would be.
Later I am going to a support meeting here in FL. There is only one bariatric practice locally here and I have gone to their meeting once before, last year. Might as well take it in while I am in town. They seem to love the doctor and it does seem to be well run.
Trish, you will probably enjoy the first floor apt. a LOT! Sounds like Utley is playing "alpha male" with you this morning and you'll have to remind him exactly who is in charge! When is your move scheduled?

Gooding Morning OFF-
Sunny here in Maine today. I'm almost done with my second wool clog. Then I get to turn on the ho****er heater in the little cabin where my washer is so I can felt them. Curious to see how they turn out. Mom may be getting some for Christmas this year. She declared several years ago that the only things she wanted for Christmas gifts were practical gifts she can use or eat. It's been a challenge but so far I've met the criteria.
Contacted the surgeons office with questions yesterday. Expecting answers today. Could not read one of the hand written comments on the consent form and don't want to sign it until I know what the word is. Also asking if they're planning on epidural for pain management. What's your experience in this arena OFFrs?
Laundry day and cleaning day in store for me. Have to take advantage of the sun to dry the clothes. Maybe some porch time today rather than sitting like a lump inside all day. Just finished pedalling for my fourth consecutive day. Seems to work better to get up and immediately pedal rather than get into the drinking and eating cycle.
