Welcome to Monday!!!!!
Hey Carla...good Monday morning!! Good morning to all OFF friends who haven't posted yet!. It's cloudy and there's talk of rain today....prayerfully so because we need it soooo badly!!
Home from our wee hour moring route and sitting here with our 1st cup of Folgers...yum. Took meds/vitamins already and in a bit, will hop in the shower and dress for new Endocronologist Dr. appt. later this morning. Nervous but so ready to get some direction and hopefully answers.
Did I mention that I'm sore?! Yesterday, while DH had the chicken cooking in the new smoker, I wandered outside to check out the progress. There sat our bikes in the garage so I jumped on mine and took it for spin around our neighborhood. DH grabbed his and we ended up going for a nice long bike ride. Mind you, this is our first time on our bikes(said with head hanging low in shame) this year. He bought us these bikes last summer, paying $600.00 per bike. I told him it's the Cadillac of bikes...lol. He also bought my daughter and sister a 3 wheel bike. They love their bikes. Anyway, I'm sore but it was so much fun. I told him that we'll be doing this way more often.
Ok, need to go prepare my oatmeal then hop in the shower. Wish me luck!!

Hello Carla and Happy Monday OFF family,
the weekend went by way too fast. Now I'm looking forward to Thursday so we can head Up North and relax, sit by the lake and watch the ships go by, sit and read some books and take long walks. Look at the beautiful stars by the campfire and not hear a phone ring! Now that is my idea of a get away!
Singing at church Sunday went well and we had a sub pastor, she was wonderful and fresh out of college with 2 teenage girls. Great speaker, wonderful pastor, she will find a church soon I'm sure.
Have lots to do today have several new volunteers starting and have to get my ducks all in a row for them. First one will be here in a few minutes. So Happy Monday and hugs and prayers for all in need. Debbie

Well, I have been conspicuously absent for awhile! Soooooo busy.
We got out daughter and granddaughter off to PDX last Tuesday. They were supposed to leave Monday, but flight outta RDU would be delayed so she would miss her connection. So, they rescheduled her for Tues out of OAJ. So much easier!
Our DIL ordered dark blue vinyl piping and Marine foam online. We were able to get white vinyl here. As soon as it gets here I will recover the cushions of the bass boat our son bought our DIL for Mother's Day!! Not something she asked for or really wanted. But they are having fun going out on it. It needed some inside cosmetic work. Our son put down new carpet and I will be doing the cushions.
Friday my DH and I drove our grandson to Woodstock, VA. We checked him into Massanutten Military Academy for their 5 week summer classes. We will have no communication with him til later this week. Then he can only have his cell phone on Thurs evenings and Sundays! I hope this works out for him! As we were leaving, I pointed out that we were only about 6 hours from my Sis in NY. Yesterday, I spent some time tentatively planning a road trip to go visit her. I would drive up myself. Then pick up the grandson from summer camp on the way back home. Also yesterday was a baby shower for a neighbor.
Today, I get a new crown, tomorrow my DH has a podiatrist appt, Thurs we both have a reg appt with our PCP and Fri I go with my
DIL to her neurology appt. It will be a very busy week. By then the stuff will be here to begin sewing.
I hope everyone is beginning their summer happy and healthy.
