How is the smoke on your side of town. Been pretty bad in our area, but wind shift cleared it out quite a bit late yesterday and today.

Yeah, we have been pretty hazy. On Thursday it was like it was snowing around here. Today's rain has helped a lot!

Hi Carla and all OFF friends,

     I had a much better day yesterday. My food was really good. I had a 4 hour nap which made a lot of difference in how I felt. Ellen and I went out to eat dinner. I had broiled Flounder which was very good. The salad was very good too. Didn't eat much of it.

     This night and morning has been a challenge. Slept one hour during the night. Had breakfast, but t didn't stay down. Darn it. Can't wait til Wednesday gets here for my Doctor's appointment. Maybe we will find some answers.

      Today is PT and laundry. My sis picked up some clothes at the resale shop. I thought they would be too small. They are 22-24 and they DID fit. I started out in size 30/32. One is a silk blouse that is in my favorite color (lavender.)  I'm shocked and amazed. Lost 3 pounds this week, but haven't measured yet. Will do that in a bit. Then I will update my Health Tracker.

Don't let old grumpy pants get you down!! I have one of those and that is one of the reasons he sits in the family room on his puter all day, and I sit in the living room on mine.

Good Morning OFF Family,
Not much exciting going on here.  I have a podiatrist appointment, which was moved up because I am having a lot of pain in the toes he operated on.  Then I have to pick up sis-in-law at Enterprise because she is returning a truck she rented.

Trish, what did your podiatrist do to your toes?????  I am supposed to have middle three toes tendons released and pinned to straighten them.   I have drop foot and have nothing but problems the last 2 yrs......

Pat,
I had three hammertoes on my left foot repaired.  That is where they break the toes at one joint and join the bones together, eliminating the joint, shortening the toes.  The surgery was in March, and I am still having trouble.  Today, he gave me two cortisone shots in each of the three toes.  Ouch!

Trish, my mom had a hammertoe ... she had it for years and finally had it fixed last year at 86.
