I am truly blessed-you gals are the best

You have no idea how overwhelmingly loved I feel right now.  I keep rereading your replies to my post about the health issues I am wrestling with.  Your love and prayers just overwhelms me.  It has given me the strength to get through the next few days.  I see the pain specialist's nurse practitioner on Tuesday, and hopefully can discuss my options.  I am going to ask for a referral to physical therapy.  At least till I get the procedure to burn the nerves.  I also looked up the yoga classes, and water fitness classes at the two LA Fitnesses I go to, and the one near my work.  I did yoga while in rehab last year, and it helped me considerably.  I am hoping it helps me again.  I have a lot of options in terms of time of day for yoga.  The water exercise classes are limited, but not bad either, just not as often as the yoga.

I also have a CD with mindful meditation exercises on it that are specifically for pain management.  And, my psychotherapist recorded a visualization exercise he used to use with pain management patients that I have used previously with some relief.

Again, thank you so much for your love and prayers.  I am truly blessed.

Hugs,
Trish

Love you, Trish. Do whatever you can that helps. Rest when you need to rest.  PT has been very helpful for me. I started in April. Goodnight. Sleep tight.   Mag

Trish, grateful & hard for me to admit, but I am ALIVE because of you all here..This is not a ha ha statement, but the truth. Knowing that I, WE have people *****ally care about us is uplifting. Often I have felt my hubby and my kids didn't give a hoot, but you all did. I know we are virtual..cyberfriends, often never having spoken, touched, hugged, kisses in person, but we have OFFERED WORDS OF LOVE, YELLED AT EACH OTHER, OFFERED ADVICE, KICKED EACH OTHER IN THE BUTT, CARRIED US ON SHOULDERS, GAVE US A HAND UP, SAID PRAYERS, AND TRULY CARED.
This is my first place I come to each morning, after saying hello to God. Monica

Trish, what's the mindful meditation exercises for pain management? Since I can't afford the copay ($50) for a psychologist, I would like to have something to use at home for pain management.

Thanks in advance. I need all the help I can get.

Love you, sweet Trish!  Life on OFF would not be the same without you and Utley and the munchkins!
