Dearest Judy,
Thanks so much for being here for me. I'm sorry it took me so long to answer. Have gone from Manic to exhausted. I'm sure I'll be on top of things soon.   Mag

So very sorry for your loss -- our furry pets become part of our family, almost like our children.....cherish the memories you had and when the time is right, think about adopting a new friend.   I just saw in the headlines this morning, there are 900 cats and dogs that have not been claimed from the tornado in Joplin, Missouri -- aww, just breaks my heart.

Sending hugs and love,
Pat R.

Dear Pat,
Thank you for your words of encouragement. Yes, being without human children the dogs were my babies. Our kitty, Bela, Is nice, but not a dog. They are like no other when it comes to showing love.   Mag

Oh, hon, I'm so sorry.  But your beloved pet will always live on in your heart.  And you know he had a good life and was so loved by you while he was here.  That's all any of us can ask for.

Love you, friend!

Sweetie, I am so sorry for your loss.  My husband did not cry when his father died, but was in tears when he had to take our Buddy for his last journey.  Take care of yourself.

My dear Sharon,
Thank you for your comforting words. My SIL said she had never seen my brother cry in 40 years of marriage until they had to take Winston to the vet for the final time.  Dogs do for us what few else can do.    Mag

Dear Mag,
The loss of a dog that you love to your depths is so difficult. I have no advice- just empathy and sympathy. I'm with you in spirit.
