Congrats on your insurance approval.  That is awesome.  Things will start moving a lot faster now.  Good job attending supprt group and the seminar ahead of time.  That is great work.

Before you know it, you will be on the Losers Bench with the rest of us that are post-ops.

Hugs,
Trish

Hi Trish and my OFF family:

Got up a little later than I wanted today ... woke up with a headache, so I kept going back to sleep, hoping to get rid of it ... finally got out of bed and took my Imitrex and put a ice pack on it. Then I had stomach issues but those have now passed, if ya know what I mean. So back to work today.

My big news yesterday was ... my bankruptcy was discharged. Freedom! Yippee!  I can't jump that high without hurting my knees.

Didn't do much of anything yesteday ... was going to make Waikiki meatballs but wasn't in the mood to cook ... maybe tomorrow. Just sat around and read and fooled around on the computer.

Anyway, I need to get in the shower. Have a good day.

Hey OFF Friends-

I'm communicating from the cyber cafe at the Alumni Weekend event I'm attending.  Flew in from Maine yesterday and drove to campus this morning.  Have checked in, found my dorm and I am slowly getting oriented.  Campus has really changed in 35 years.  I'm in a time warp living in the dorm for three nights.  Twin bed, desk, chair, frig and closets.  Only an overhead light.  Bizzare!  There are all these young people in red shirts that are here to help me.  Golfcarts to move us old folks around the campus.  Should be interesting.

Just wanted to let you all know that I called the surgeon's office from the car this morning and commited to having surgery.  I'm going the VSG route.  I want to thank all of you that sent me comments during my panic attack the other day.  After I calmed down and reflected a little more I realized that the surgeon was just trying to make sure that I had all the facts.

Okay, so I'm going to go walking around campus and try to remember my life here 35 years ago.  Definately bizarre!

Have a great weekend folks probably won't log in again until Monday.  Yeah right!
