Thought I'd get the ball rolling. Got the 5yr old granddaughter overnight and getting ready to go to Jacksonville. Go see "Big Poppa" at the nursing home. Hope to get some ttgs donat home later.

Hi Kristi and OFF family to post later. Tuesday's off and running! The sun is shining and I plan on going for a walk during my break.
Work is busy and I love it...the time goes fast. On Monday we are having our recognition event for our volunteers at the Air Zoo, it should be a blast. Free rides and light eating to our wonderful volunteers who we love and appreciate so much. I just adopt them all!!!
I have never been to the Air Zoo so I will not only thanking our volunteers for their service but to see all the wonders around me. Now...the rides I don't think so, I think they are all twirly-whirley and I don't want to get dizzy! Ugh!
So today is Flag day, I'm wearing my summer sweater with the flag, white pants and red shoes.
I think on the News they said it was Flag week which I say "Whhhooooooooo"!!

I went back to work yesterday, and sat through some training that was basically a review of training I had when I was originally hired at this hospital five years ago, and reviewed every year I worked there. I did get to see some friends I had not seen in over a year. There were some changes there as well. I am excited to be working there again.
Today, I have to make an AA meeting, get blood work done, and finish my sewing projects.
Last night, I learned some news that upset me. My Mom dated a man that wanted to marry her, and before he died in 1996, he wrote an addendum to his will that basically said, he was leaving his house to her to live in as long as she wanted, and then it was to be passed on to his sons. One son, who never visited his father when he was sick and dying, contested the will. Every year since then, he sends my mother letters saying he wants to inspect the house, and basically hassling her. I just learned that he called her and said he is putting the house on the market and selling it. Mom seems to not care, but I am upset because she has a heart condition, and is 84 years old. He is harassing my mother.
So, I talked to my son, who had worked with a lawyer in Pittsburgh, and he told Sean to get a copy of the will, and the probate information of the will, and he will call this little jerk (the profanity I want to say is too crude). So, I am going to drive two hours on Friday and get the will, copy it, and fax it to my son. Mom is so forgetful these days, she would forget to copy it and forget to mail it to Sean. Sean, my son, can go on the Internet to get the probate paperwork, as it is a matter of public record.
I am also concerned because of Mom's attitude. While the son has no legal leg to stand on, he could set things up for a confrontation that stresses her. I would appreciate your prayers for her and this situation.

Trish- Suggest to your son that he also get a no-contact order issued against this guy so he can't hassle your Mom at all. You can also have his phone numbers blocked from her phone so that he can't get through. My cousin had to do that with my Aunt in a similar situation. What a wonderful man to leave this house for your mother to use and what a a^^^^ole of a son that he produced. If I didn't know any better I would think that it is my brother! Anyway, you'll be in my thoughts.

Oh Trish, I am so sorry.
My brother went through something similer when his wife died. Her 2 boys thought she had money & tried to sue my brother for it. They got nowhere but it put stress on the rest of the family. I wish your mom & you the best of luck. Let the courts & lawyers handle it & hopefully the son will have to pay all legal fees!!!

How could I forget to mention in my original post that today is my precious granddaughter, Isabel's birthday. She is four today, and is the first granddaughter in the Reilly/Kuty family. (Reilly is my last name, Kuty was my married name.)
My daughter's family is coming into town on Saturday. Not sure when we will have the joint birthday party, because Lincoln's birthday is August 1st.
I guess my upsetment with my Mom's situation had me forget for a minute about my Princess' birthday.
