What's Up on Sunday?
I had an exhausting day yesterday, and then had trouble sleeping. Go figure. I thought I would check in here, and then take Utley down to the river for our morning walk. He needs more attention from me, because I will be starting my job tomorrow. He will go to Doggy Daycamp at Petsmart this week when I am working, because
Today is church, and then sewing projects. I have a week to finish three garments, and I am working three of those days. Plus, I have to blitz this apartment, because when I get into these projects, the place becomes a disaster. I have sewing stuff all over the living room, and I tend to ignore te rest of the place when I am involved in a project. I just get into a zone. Tonight I will hit another AA meeting. Gotta protect my sobriety.
Have a good day. Still praying for Baby Liam. Keep us updated on his progress.
Hugs,
Trish

Yep, me too, when I get involved in a project I have blinders on. Luckily my sewing all takes place in a back bedroom. And I really do try to keep my crochet stuff contained in my big bag, which follows me all over the house.
In about 30 min we leave to go get our daughter and her kids. The granddaughter's ears were still bothering her, our daughter had a terrible headache and one of her dizzy spells!! Our grandson had enough ff miles and he is an MVP member and was upgraded to first class and was sitting beside an NFL player out of PDX!! That left our daughter and granddaughter in the middle and window seat with a 'stinky' man on the isle! None of us down here in J-ville have a huge vehicle anymore. Our DIL traded in her Suburban some time ago. So we will all be stuffed into my Buick. It does seat 5, and would be considered full size by a rental co, but we will have 5 full size folks in it for 3 hours. Three of which will be, tired, sick and crabby. Oh happy day.
Everyone ELSE have a fantabulous day!
OK, I'm going to try this one more time....I typed my message and it disappeared!! Hate that.
Good morning Trish & Grammylew and all to follow!!!
Happy Sunday, even a wet one. It rained!! My DH said my rain dance worked...lol. I told him nope, prayer is what worked. Rain is in our forecast again this evening. Little birds on this mornings route playing in the puddles...so cute.
Trish, wishing you good thoughts on starting back to work. I know it'll be an adjustment for you & Utley but in the end, it'll be worth it. Glad you have a nice place for him to go to while you work. My furbabies are not very social so that wouldn't work for them.
Grammylew, once your daughter gets to your house & settled and has some Mama time, I'm sure she'll feel better. There's NO place like Mama's, especially when sick.
Thank you all who wished my DH & I good thoughts on his upcoming diagnosis. Today we should be receiving a call from the Ortho Dr....so we'll see.
I hope everyone's day is relaxing & blessed.

Just a quick pop-in this morning. I'll be leaving for Houston in a couple of hours. Heard from my hubby who made it to Amsterdam last night. I stayed up to midnight to hear from him, and then I couldn't sleep very well either! I should have taken a Tylenol PM, but they make me so groggy the next day. Well, here I am, groggy anyway. At least I would have been rested.
Trish and Grammy--when I sew, I sew. That's all I do. I don't do dishes or laundry or cook either! LOL! I used to spread out all over the house, too, until we got into this house. Now I have a dedicated sewing room and it sure did help contain the mess! But my crochet is all over the house.
Lots to do this morning to pack up. We're coming back here next Thursday, so at least I don't have to do a complete clean out of the frig this time. Going to miss my little herd of deer! But I'll be so happy to have my husband finally home again! I think it's a fair trade, don't you all? LOL!
Love you all!
Nan, my husband is a hunter, too. As am I. But these deer here are pets. Lovely to look at and so fun to feed. They come right up to my back door almost! I'm going to miss them!
Thanks for remembering it's our anniversary. I'm looking forward to celebrating that and my birthday, both of which he missed this past month. Woo hoo! Ought be good for at least one big night out on the town, wouldn't ya say?
