What's Up on Saturday?

Kristi – Best of luck with your dad, and it is great news that your endoscopy went well. I had mine on Tuesday, and it was good – better than was expected, as my reflux has been flaring up severely recently. I still have to see a cardiologist, and a pulmonologist before I can be cleared.
Life is quiet for me today. I went out for a walk, and got rained on, so I cut it short, but that's about all for now. I should do some of the work that I brought home from the office, but I'm LAZY today!

Well, it's another day, another headache. I got rid of yesterday's sometime late in the day ... it took lying flat on my back with an ice pack to do it. But in the middle of the night, it came back and now it's here again. If I had my Imitrex, I could whip it, but I'm out of refills and it's the weekend, so no doctor around ... I'll have to wait until Monday. Hope I don't suffer with this all weekend. Can't really call in sick on a Saturday (well, I could ... seems like everyone else does, but I was taught differently ... you don't call in sick on a weekend night unless you're dying). So into work I'll go and hope I'm not too miserable.
Strange thing happened this morning: A couple of mourning doves were hanging around my little yard and one flew into the sliding door windows ... Juliette went ballistic and went up to the door trying to "catch" the bird. The dove seemed to be unhurt, but hung around the yard with another dove for awhile, under Juliette's watchful eyes.
Well, not much else going on. I need coffee. Had my protein coffee, now for the full-bore stuff. Maybe that'll take care of the headache.

When we moved into our present home my dog, Char-Lee Ran as fast as he could towards the house not realizing that the sliding glass door was closed. Gave himself a concussion. I felt so bad about it. We had never had a glass door before. He never did it again. He would wait until one of us humans walked through. lol. It's funny now, but at the time it was scary.

Afternoon Trish and OFF family!!!!
Today is my last day of vacation...crap!!!! LOL Enjoyed being off so much and not having to worry about anything at work!!! LOL I did go in today to get my schedule for tomorrow and they asked me if I was coming in to work....umm NO I am still on vacation yet today! Well Melissa called off and we need someone to work this afternoon and tonight to close...oh well not my problem now is it? Got my schedule and got the heck out of there!!!! Besides I have plans to do things yet today that we want to do yet before I go back to work!!! GEZZZZ
Went to the farm park for the dog show they had there. Got to see the police dogs do their things and also the tracking dogs do theirs...also had the working dogs and hound dogs and also the dogs that jump into the water and a few other things that their dogs could do...had a good time there! We got hungry so we went to the food wagon...OMG can you believe they wanted $4 for a corndog on a stick??? Dang!!!!!! LOL Not much to choose from so we had to get that for our lunch.
Rick's mom called while we were at the park..wants him to come help her wall paper the bedroom!!! He told her a long time ago he was NOT going to do it! She has called him several times and he stopped answering his phone now!! He told her that she could do it and also Nicole could help her do it! He is working at apartment and also is on vacation with me today!!! What doesn't she get??? He is so mad at her for tearing up this room that did not need it!!! He is also wondering where she got the money to do this. No clue!!! I am staying out of this one!!!!

Mag...the farm park here has lots of things going on thru the year...the next time something that is happening I want to go see is around my birthday in november. That will be the sled dogs...never saw them either so would love to see them go!!! Then in december they have the country lights...that is supposed to be another pretty thing to see with all the Christmas lights all over the park. Never saw that yet so would love to go there and see it this year. See what happens! :-) But there are alot of different things going on almost every weekend to see and do there. I work every weekend so I don't get to see most unless I ask for a day off.
Yeah Darn it is right about all good things come to an end...sighs

I saw sled dogs in Alaska when I was there; once just outside Valdez; then the other time, they were the sled dogs of Susan Butcher (Idiatarod champ) and her husband, who was from a town in S.D. that was in our coverage area. I tried to get an interview with Butcher that night, but he never called me back to set it up, and I was on a tour and leaving the next day. But it was still very interesting.
Eileen that sounds like it was a cool thing to see!!!! At the farm park yesterday they had some sled dogs but they weren't going to pull any sleds til way late in the day and we didn't want to wait that long so we missed seeing it happen...sighs. But come november that is what I want for my birthday....to see the sled dogs....LOL
Sorry the guy didn't call you back for that interview!!! Shame on him!! But he may have been to tired or had to care for the dogs....never will know now.
I was supposed to go to MN this morning and get the rest of my things....no go....couldn't get a hold of Tony to unlock the storage unit for me. It is his storage unit. I still can't get a hold of him!! Will I ever get my belongings??

I went to some garage sales this morning with my daughter and Grace. That was fun. I found some really nice things so did my daughter and of course Grace just wanted it all.....LOL
This afternoon my daughter and soon to be ex-husband are meeting to get the bills and such divided up as they are working on getting their divorce. That should be interesting!!! I am keeping Grace and they are going elsewhere!!
That's about it for me. Many prayers for those in need...a few special ones for LIAM.
