One day a man walked into a bar. He told the bartender that he didn't have any money. However, he would show the bartender something amazing in exchange for a drink. It was a slow day, so the bartender agreed.

The man reached into his pocket and pulled out a frog and a tiny saxophone.

He gave the saxophone to the frog. The frog then proceeded to play an incredible jazz solo. Highly impressed, the bartender gave the man a drink.

The man then asked for another drink in exchange for something even more amazing. The bartender agreed.

So the man pulled a hamster out of his pocket and set it on the bar. The frog started playing the saxophone again. Then the hamster started singing along. It was a terrific jazz duet. Even more impressed, the bartender gave the man a second drink.

Just then another bar patron rushed up to the man. He offered the man $1,000 for the singing hamster. The man considered it for a moment and then agreed to the deal.

The patron paid the man and quickly left with the hamster. After the patron left, the bartender exclaimed, "I can't believe you let a singing hamster go for only $1,000!"

The man replied, "It's no loss to me. The frog is a ventriloquist."

Cute story! Cindy, how are you guys doing? And how about those new grandbabies? It's been way too long since we've heard from you. Spill the beans!

Karen, we're doing well.  Ron's mother is holding her own.  The dr. still thinks she has a year or less -- but, he said she could surprise us all.

John and Grace, born 3/22, are doing very well.  We saw them in April.  John is a itttle bigger than Grace.  I'm sure they have changed a lot.  Check out my f/b page.  I have a recent photo of the twins and a photo of the four grandchildren on my profile.

We've been very busy with life.  I think I told you we got a puppy.  He's 10 1/2 mos. old now.  We've finished our second round of obedience training and are starting his second round of agility.  He loves agility.  He runs Ron ragged on that course.  Ha.  Ha.  It's good socialization for him to be around other dogs and the classes are a safe environment to expose him to others.

It was pretty warm and sunny here yesterday.  Cooler today with some cloud cover.

Tomorrow, I have my yearly appt. with my oncologist.  It's been 9 years since I was diagnosed.  This is a new dr. for me as the previous one moved on.  I don't like change so I have some anxiety about that but I'm sure it will turn out just fine.

How are you and Mike?  I read OFF every day and always look for your posts.  I know you have a second round of P.S. scheduled pretty soon.  Hope that goes well for you and that you have an easy recovery.

How are your kids and grandkids?  Your son is getting married soon, right?

Take care.  Say hello to Mike for us.

Thanks for the update. Beautiful, beautiful babies. . . an puppy!

Best wishes at the doctor. I had put off getting a new gynochologist. . .Put it off until I had a "private" issue that needed taken care of.(mine of 25 years died a couple of years ago) So my first visit with a new doctor was a bit more personal than I would have liked. I kept reminding myself that he is a doctor and there is not anything he hasn't seen before. It turned out fine but my anxiety level was way up there that day too.
