It's Tuesday, what's new?
sunday nite i applied online to a different bank-they are hiring FT which is unheard of anywhere- offering bennies --so i would be stupid not to TRY...so went to my supervisor yesterday to tell her before she hears from anyone else-she understands -she knows i need ins and knows i am sole support -she's been very helpful in coaching me to help me get my finances back in order-so-now i wait to see if i get an interview-its in the town where i go to school so farther drive each day but FT and bennies would outweigh the gas....
yesterday was a good busy day at work; then to school and enjoyable first nite of a new class....long day however!!!!
today homework and then tonite mom and i o for our interview by the Eastern Star gals....
sun is shining and windows open...i am loving it!!!!!
cut over 2 inches off the very top of my hair- was tired of the drawn look!!!! and my natural curl left me-am sure hoping it comes back!!!!!rit now its looking like a 2 " spike ! ouch!!!!
well- homework calling me!!!!!
I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

Hi OFF Family!!!
Well I have been missing due to working my tail off and coming home so tired and miserable I didn't feel like posting anything! But here I am today....haha
Bandits dewclaw was healing nice up until the other night when the new people that moved in other end of our building had their german shepherd out playing ball in the yard...grrrrrrrrrr Bandit got all excited and ran back and forth and ofcourse got the darn thing bleeding again and so I had to get that stopped and bandaged up again...was upset over it and Rick told the guy that he had to tie his dog up and that there were rules here!!! The guy took his dog elsewhere and had his dog on a leash....well duh!!!!!!!! Talked to manager today about it and she said if it happened again to let her know because NO dog will be unleashed or not tied up in this complex! I am so tired of people thinking they can let their dogs run free around here especially those BIG dogs!! And ever since I had that bad experience with my neighbors dog in michigan I am scared to death of going through it again!!!! If they want their dog off leash, they can go to the dog park!!!!!!
Anyhow its finally nice here today and I have my capri pants on and no jacket!!! YIPPPEEE!!!!!!! :-) Infact its 67* right now!!!! LOVE IT!!!!!! Had our bikes out for a ride the other night Mothers day infact...but I got to cold so we stopped. Maybe today again we can go for a ride.
Got a cute Mother's Day card in the mail from my oldest son yesterday. About made me cry!!! First card in years....nothing from my younger son at all...oh well.
Mom is doing well. Waiting to see her dr's for follow up appointments now. Loved the roses I got her. Well my brother got them for her for me. I gave him the money to do it for me when she was home and feeling better to enjoy them.
Rick's mom stopped over on mothers day for her card and after she opened it she made a comment that "Joe" gave her $10...I bit my tongue and said well if we didn't have the unexpectected vet bill you might have gotten something more...but we did give you the $30 before remember? That woman can make my blood boil!!! Just one time I would love to slap the stupid out of her!!!!
Well I better get going here and head to the bank...made out a check for a bill that was due and found a couple envelopes with money in them that weren't deposited...yikes!!!!!!!!!! Head up my behind I guess....I tell I have been so busy working and so tired and no time to think straight....glad I am off til friday now!!!! Dr tomorrow morning for check up on my pain and then foot dr thursday morning....hopefully he will fix that dam toe for the last time!!!!!!!!!!! Getting sick of it hurting!!!!!!!!!!!
OK going to shut up now and go to the bank....aren't you glad I am back?

Judy, for all the years we were married, until my MIL passed, she never once called me Carolyn (my name). She ALWAYS called me Anita, the girl she wanted my DH to marry. And it wasn't a mistake. She knew better! I just chalked it up to grumpy old age! All we can do is behave better with the spouses our children choose. I have 3 kids and 2 of them married spouses I really like. I keep my mouth shut about the other.
Vickie, I hope you have heard from your hubby and he got there safely! I will keep on keepin' on with my treadmill if you do. We can walk together!

And my gracious, girls! The stories you tell about your MIL's. Makes me glad I never had a MIL. She passed long before I met my husband. I did have a GMIL--I'm not sure she ever really liked me!
I do try really hard not to say anything I might regret about my daughters' choices of boyfriends, husbands, etc. Sometimes I really have to bite my tongue!

I have been kind of out of the loop for the last few days, busy birthday, mother's day weekend and very busy at work. I am glad to hear everyone is doing well. I am proceeding along my WLS journey. I have all the testing scheduled that they want, CXR, EKG, labwork, echocardiogram and gallbladder ultrasound. From what I understand, if that all comes back okay, then I get a referral to the surgeon. I am excited, but know that the road ahead may still be long.
