Five years ago today I took charge of my life and had WLS.  The ride has been bumpy at times, but what a ride it's been!  I'd do it all over again in a minute!

The friends I've made!  The places I've gone!

My life is mine again.  Thank you all for being a part of it.

Congratulations Candy,

There may have been a few bumps, but think of ALL the bumps before? You have taken control and had a good time. I am glad to have you in my life too.

Be good to yourself today.

Kisses

Yup, Annette, I'm doing just what I want to do today. Wandering the "back forty" with a shovel, digging up dandelions.

Congradulations on Taking Back Your Life with WLS. Major decision, brave, hard, a journey pathway filled with pot holes, mile markers, hills, valleys, success when you walk it with truth, determination, a road map (GPS), family and medical support, and the OFFers here who share the roadway. But the only one truly resonsable is YOU, naked as at birth, ready to change and live it. The rewards are life changing.

Congrats my friend! I justgot in (3pm). Mike and I have been in the yard since about 10AM. Dug up the weeping cherry that appears to be losing it's battle for life, made a much larger hole (where did all that dirt come from?) lanted a much larger ($$$$) Japanese Maple. Doesn'tseem quite fair: costs much more and then you have to work twice as hard to get he hole big enough, etc.

Candy....Congrats!!!  I hope that in my 5 years out that I can come in here with victory on my WLS life.  I'm just now 2 yrs out and have gained 14 lbs. already!!  I'm working hard in getting it off because I've still got to get to my goal weight.  I've got to do that for me.  It was my personal goal from the beginning and I won't be satisfied until I reach it so I've been busy at work on my plan.

It's people like you who've been there/done that already who give us inspiration to keep on keeping on.  Thanks!!

Cindy

P.S.  Happy Mother's Day
