I remember your dear Mother, Karen *hugs*..in fact, I was looking again at her book just a week ago...I'd lent it to Mom and I found it again in her drawer.  Seems that no matter if you think you are ready to let go, you never are.

No more messages about Aunt Fae but she does cross my mind now and again *s*.

What is that I see in the sky?  Why it's the sun.  Wait a minute...  it's gone.
I hate all of the rain that we've had.  My flowers look great and the grass is green and getting very high, but my dogs are getting too muddy and I can't get outside like I want to.
I think that this has been the longest, dreariest winter/spring that I've ever seen.  I went to a concert last night and had to wear my winter coat because it was too cold for anything else.
Do you think that we'll go from this straight into fall??  Hope not.
Okay - I'll quit whining.  Has anyone heard from Judy about her mother?
Monica, you are doing great  -  what an inspiration you are.
I have nothing planned for today unless it gets dry enough that I can get outside and work in my gardens.  Other than that, I have some marking to finish and cleaning around the house to do.
I'm hoping for a very relaxed weekend.  Hope you have the same.

I can sure relate to the "muddy dogs" comment! I have three layers of covers on my couch. Thank goodness I don't have carpeting in much of the house. We are still having some showers in CA- that is highly unusual. i do know that we will skip Spring.

Go ahead and whine about the lousy, wet Spring it has been.  I am right there with you.  My fibromyalgia likes warm weather.  The only good thing about the temps being cooler is that my son has not installed my window air conditioner, and I live on the second floor of a brick building.

Hi Connie,
I just made two WLS friendly cheesecakes to put strawberries on for Easter dinner tomorrow.  I modified a recipe I found in a Splenda recipe box. I did use premade graham cracker crust, but the recipe called for a homemade graham cracker crust using Splenda.

Happy Birthday to your son.

Hugs,
Trish

Trish....I would like your WL recipe for cheesecake. Nic only wants the loaded with calories one...LOL

Nic is my grandson. He has had cancer since he was 3....he wasn't supposed to live as this is not a curable cancer. He has beat the odds many times. We are celebrating his birthday because each one is truly very special. His site is:

If you want to check it out.

Hope your cheesecake is a hit!!

Sorry for the mix-up about your grandson.  Praise the Lord for the miracle of his life.  I will post the cheesecake recipe later.  The only difference between mine and normal cheesecake is reduced fat cream cheese, reduced fat sour cream, and Splenda, instead of the regular stuff.  I can't taste the difference.

I am going to check out his website.

Hugs,
Trish
