GETTING PACKED TO GO SEE MOM

Leaving in the morning soon as we get up. I canceled my dental appointment figure I can get my teeth cleaned anytime. Need to go see my mom!!! Got the car all gased up and ready to go. Just need to pack my bags and then load the car up in the morning. Bandit needs a bath he stinks from all this rain we had and the mud he walked in!  Guess I can do that tonight also. Got the laundry all done last night and nobody tried to get a load in while I was using the facilities either for a change!!! Shocked me!! LOL

Manager is back from his vacation today. I told him about my mom and he told me not to worry about my job! He told me to do what I had to do and just keep him posted!! WOW!!! What a difference from the HR manager!! I'll see what I can do she told me...so I am going and if I need to be with my mom longer,  I am free to do it!!!

Talked to mom last night and she said the sister from her church was over to give her communion. She asked mom if she would like to have Father come over to give her the Sacrament of the sick. Mom said YES!! So he was supposed to come today or tomorrow to do that for her. I hope He came today or atleast tomorrow before I get there so I don't have to be there when he gives her the Sacrament. I will fall apart again!! When my sister had her cancer again and Father gave her the Sacrament of the sick, I lost it right there in church!!! I can't deal with this anymore. I am NOT strong like I was before!!! With Gary (my ex-husband) when he was sick i had alot to deal with him, then my mom got her cancer and I took care of her. Then my sister got her cancer. Her daughter took care of her. Then she got it a second time. I lost my job and was able to care for her at that time. When she was told her cancer was gone again we celebrated....then IT came back a third time and I lost it!!! I could NOT deal with it again. I haven't been able to be strong again to care for anyone that need a "rock" so to speak. I am praying like I have never prayed before in my life right now and I hope GOD is listening to me again!!! I can't lose my mom!!!! I hope and pray that she will be ok and will be home healthy once again soon!!!!

I will not have any way to post about mom unless I can go to my sister's or maybe Phyllis can post for me on any updates while I am in Michigan. So I will thankyou all now for any prayers and thoughts that you are giving for my mom and family. THANKYOU!!! THANKYOU!!!! THANKYOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Judy, you and your mom are in my thoughts. It's amazing what employers (good ones) will do when the chips are down ... my publisher in Montana gave me (well, loaned me) money to go home when my dad had terminal cancer in 1984 (and eventually died within a week after I got home). I had just worked there two months at the time.

You do what you have to for your mom. Be there for her. That's all you can do.

Prayers for you and your Mom. This is a very important trip for you both. Remember the good times together and tell her about the little things you loved so as a child. Since my Mom had alzheimers, and did NOT know who I was weighing 330 lbs, our visits were hard on me. She always would comment that she had a daughter named Monica when I visited. She would talk about Monica, not knowing remotely that I was her Monica. Safe passage on your trip.
