It's Monday and what's new?
Hello everyone! I just arrived in FL for 3 weeks in Naples. Glad to be here after the cold and stormy weather up north. DH is coming down for 5 days at the end of the month, which means that we will have Easter Sunday apart. That will be odd....I sort of mixed up dates when looking at travel dates for both of us, etc. But we shall survive!
We had some bad news from the IRS this weekend and owe quite a lot in taxes. Plus, had the gutters looked at (while our neighbors had the guy over to clean theirs between the raindrops) and found out we may need a roof this year.
Bottom line is that my plastics are going to go on hold for a while till we dig out of the mess. I also fear that we will need a new a/c in PA this year, as we have been getting ours patched up every year for 4 years....when it rains it pours.
I'm not whining or complaining, I tell ya, but the financial reality check**** at the worst moments don't they? We have made a lot of progress in managing finances and keeping bills paid off in the last few years but every so often it hits again. Long story there.
I'll be working remotely and soaking up some sun....but for now, need to get a few groceries in the house. There's nothing here!

Hi All,
It's lunchtime here... I'm done eating and I need to do some report writing in a minute. I am in constant contact with my sister-in-law. My nephew tangled with a rattlesnake on Saturday- he was bitten in the foot. The swelling has gone all the way to his thigh. He has had 16 IVs of anti-venom, but the swelling has still not stopped moving. It's very scary. He is 20- thankfully he is still on his parent's insurance policy. I really want to drive there to keep his parents company, but unfortunately I have meetings every afternoon this week. If he gets any worse I will just cancel the meetings and go anyway. It's a three hour drive, so I can't just go with no preparation. Anyway- hope you are all having a great day!

Good afternoon Eileen and everyone...
I missed all of you this last weekend but I sure had fun! I met a wonderful man...a cowboy to boot!! We were together Saturday and danced and had a great time Saturday night. My friends band was playing that night. What an awesome time!!Bummer that I am in Iowa and he is moving to Alaska! I actually know his sister...small world.
I also had a great time with my very best girlfriend. We had plenty of time to catch up while I was in MN. I stayed at her house while I was there.
I will now try to catch up on all the posts I missed the last few days. Hope all is well with all of you.
Prayers for many in need....especially those in the severe storm areas. So much destruction and loss....so sad!

Hi Eileen and all my OFF friends,
Had a great time with the grandkids at Disney. Got Montezuma's Revenge. Spent Thursday and half of Friday not knowing which end to put on the toilet so we put the plastic trash can in there. TMI??? LOL.
But that just left me and hubby at the hotel. Son, DIL and Grands went to the parks. I am very tired and I lost seven lbs.
We took 404 pictures. I will go through them tomorrow and weed out the bad and blurred shots. Then I will upload all of them to Walgreens to be printed.
Today I did next to nothing but rested.
I hope all of you are OK. Best wishes to all.
