Snow tomorrow!
The forecast is for "light snow" tomorrow and a high of 1C, which is just above freezing. Yuck. I know that the snow won't last, but just the thought of more snow is discouraging. I've put my boots away and was thinking of wearing my new capris to work, but I'll have to put that thought on the back burner. I have students who have been wearing shorts and sandals; however, we Canadians like to push the coming of the warm seasons - we're the ones in Florida wearing shorts when the Floridians are bundled up.
Oh well, spring is here and it has to warm up soon.
Did you know that our gasoline is $1.25 per litre, which is $4.64 per US gallon (our gallon is 160 ounces and US gallons are 120 ounces, so there is a difference)
Can you tell that I am avoiding working??? I have a ton of papers to mark, but my back is killing me from a fall in the bathtub last week and I can't concentrate at all. I've done everything today but work on marking. I did get my tax "stuff" ready to take to the accountant tomorrow - tax day in Canada is April 30, so I'm okay.
Well, I'm off to get ready to watch Upstairs Downstairs, which is 3 or 4 segments of a new version of Upstairs Downstairs. It's on PBS in a few minutes and I will watch it and put away all of my marking until morning when I hope that my back is not in spasms. I'd better make an appointment with my chiropractor for tomorrow afternoon.
I'm rambling...
Have a good night everyone.
Margaret
