Hello my fellow travelers. Most of our country is still in a deep freeze....sorry for that.
B-Apple and Cheese L-Smart One's Cicken terayaki D-Spnach Quiche S-Cheese Stick...Not exciting,but it gets the job done!
So many of us are smaller than we were this time last month...and many of us will be this time next week. When I was much heavier,I would weigh only once a month, that way,I always showed a decrease...and I concentrated on the life change, instead of the diet part.

Good morning to you, dear Linda. I hope that your day today is not good but super! You deserve nothing less than that. Mine is going to be good because that is what I have set my mind to have.

Food today is going to be good. I set my mind at that too. So here goes with the stuff for the day.

B: sf oatmeal with 1/4 cup sunflower kernels
L: deli turkey ham and cheese
D: salmon I think along with some steamed veggies
S: cheese sticks I think for today

I better get moving. I have some chores and a couple of errands to do today. I would rather be reading. Maybe I can get some of that done while waiting for the car. That is a good thing. I have been on a reading kick lately........or I should say more of a reading kick than normal. I have always been a reader. I love it so much. I read as much as I can but not as much as before. I use to read a book every couple of days but life sometimes gets in the way.

I am sending love and big hugs to you and prayers are going up for you as always. Remember that you hold a special place in my heart. Have a wonderful day and remember to smile that beautiful smile that you have. It will bring a lot of happiness to someones life........including your own!

It's not what you gather, but what you scatter
that tells what kind of life you have lived.

Hi dear Brenda, nothing like a made up mind! Good for you! I have had to make up my mind about something, and I just pray to God,that it will not get messy and cause me stress.
I do the find the word puzzles, they say as we get older, the more reading, games, puzzles that we do,helps with our cognitive skills.
Have a good one....smile.

Good morning Linda, Brenda and all to come.  I am going to have a super fantastic day!  I am not working , but am going to quilt all day with friends.  What fun!

For Christmas our kids got us a WII.  I purchased the WII fit to go with it.  Last night my hubby and I used it.  DH is "over weight" and instead of being in his 50s he is 66 according to the "game", I on the other hand showed to be one year younger than I actually am!  DH is in fantastic shape actually........he uses the bowflex at least 3xs a week and plays basketball weekly.  Think the game mistook his muscle weight for "fat"!  So.........I am off to play on my WII and then off to play with fabric!

Hugs............V(ickie)

Good morning!

B  Oatmeal - 1/2 banana
S  Prob protein drink
L  Tuna and salad
D  Fish, veg, few slices potato
S  Something or other

You mentioned string cheese - the only one I can find has 70 cals?  What brand/type
are you eating?   I like the laughing cow light wedges - garlic and herbs - 35 cals.

Thanks - have a great day.

Katherine,

The Snackables Twists cheese sticks (mozzarella & cheddar twist) have 60 cal each.  That's the lowest I've found.  I like the Laughing Cow light wedges, too, but for me, the more solid the cheese, the longer the satiety.

Hiya Katherine,I use low fat mozzrella string cheese. With cheese my concern is low fat,it is a good sourse of protein.
I have not had the wedges,I will try some, after I read the contents.
Hope you are having a great day!

Sargento makes a low fat mozzarella cheese stick that only has 50 calories and it's really yummy.   Wal Mart carries them.
