Linda,

Today I'm going to a scrapbooking "crop" event sponsored by an acquaintance of mine.  It's fun to do scrapbooking with a group - you can borrow each other's materials and steal each other's ideas.  I've got 2 scrapbooks going right now, one dedicated to my puppies and one dedicated to my mom.

B: chocolate peanut butter banana protein shake
S: iced skinny latte
L: salmon salad
S: spiced pecans
D: steak, cabbage w/ bacon
S: chocolate protein bar

im having coffee so far, and havent given the rest of the day much thought.  ive been having a hard time lately, i think too much time at home sitting on my butt healing is getting to me.  ive been talking to myself every day, and reminding myself that food is not the answer to my boredom.  some days im better than others.

Mystic,I know you are doing your best. I do not know of your relationship to food, have you had food counciling?
I do not know how sucessful I would have been with out it.
There is also Over Eaters Anonymous,of which I was a member, and heavens to Betsy! Well,it is the 12 step program but for FOOD!
I now know where the food dragon and I stand.
Let me know how things go,I wish I could give you more...
Are you planning your menu??
You are active,I know it is harder for you to be bored.
Hang in there, kiddo.
Hugs...

Good morning to you, Sweet Linda. I have missed you so. I know that I was suppose to call you and haven't. I kept forgetting and then time changes make me even more confused than I usually am. You know the old saying of "He who dies with good intentions rarely gets to heaven,". I do have good intentions but then forget them most of the time.

I have had some problems with the food while I have been gone. Not a lot but some. I hope that posting my food for the day now is going to help it along some. It sure can't hurt that is for sure.

B: sf oatmeal and 1/4 cup sunflower kernels
L: not sure of that yet, hoping that maybe we might go out
D: fi****hink with veggies
S: sf pudding if anything

I hope that your day goes well and remember to smile that pretty smile of yours. I am sending love and plenty of big old Brenda hugs to go with it. I am keeping special prayers around you and hope that they keep you safe.

It's not what you gather, but what you scatter
that tells what kind of life you have lived.

Poor baby, you have to work on Sat.?  Did good yesterday and again today even though I didn't plan food.
Yesterday with George in the hosp. most of the day:
B - protein shake
S - Starbucks coffee with skim milk and s/f hazelnut syrup
L - from hosp. cafeteria baked catfish, turnip greens, and mixed veggies.
S - protein bar
D - alligator sauce piquant, broccoli, and turnips
S - protein shake

There was so much food in my to go box from the hosp. cafeteria, I shared it with our son and George.  Yep, George was able to eat immediately after the angiogram.  AND boy was he hungry after fasting from 10 Thursday night.  The nurse brought him two plates, one with breakfast food and another with lunch food.  I hand fed him a turkey sandwich, blueberry muffin, yogurt, 2 containers of apple juice, and a cup of water along with 1/3 of my fish and some greens.  THEN, they delivered his lunch!  My starving hubby at another piece of baked catfish, mashed taters with gravy, a dinner roll, and a piece of lemon cake along with 2 cups of lemonade.  He didn't eat the coleslaw 'cause he didn't like it!

Today:
B - protein shake
S - forgot
L - hot dog with chili and a few bites of bon
S - busy, didn't have one
D - leftovers - steak, baked sweet potato, broccoli, turnips
S - probably a protein shake

I can't believe it's only 6:50, it feels like 11:00.

Hope to "see" you tomorrow!
Debbie
