Summer get together
Hi everyone, well we decided to have an OFF get
together this summer. It will be at our house just south of Traverse City. Anyone that wants to stay here is welcome.
We have 2 empty bedrooms a basement family room & living room. We also have 20 acres if anyone is into camping. We will supply food. What I wanted to do is just have a relaxing time. Anyone that wants to go into Traverse City, it is 20 min. away. We have an above ground pool, quads & trails in the woods. This will be a do what you want weekend. My DH has said he take care of cooking.
This will be the weekend of July 4th. Cherry Festival starts this weekend too so there will be lots to do. Please think about it & let me know.

So you dont want to make that long trip!!!!!! I wish I could take out motorhome but it is in deep repair and probably wont be done by then. So I am going to load up my Versa with the Aero bed, Sleeping bags, Cooler, Grill and maybe a tent and go. 1400 miles and Ill be there!!!!!

That sounds like a nice idea, please PM me with address so I can see how many hours of a drive it would be for me and if I can and nothing else is going on, family wise, I would love to come and I usually take some vacation time around that time of the year, I'll bring my areo bed to ensure I have a place to sleep ;)

Nan, I have been keeping posted on this through Carla. I am planning on coming and I am not sure about Bill. He usually doesn't do well around crowds. He is kind of backward at times. Not sure where that comes from but it just there. I would love to come up and see everything. Eileen and I talked about coming up but she is not sure if she can get off since that is a holiday weekend. I will check with Bill and see if he is up to it. So....count us in unless you hear otherwise. I would need directions that is for darn sure. You know me.......I use to love to just get in the car and go and ask questions later but now sometimes it is an effort for me to venture to far away.
