From my country, Canada, to yours
I have also been baptised in 3 religions,I draw the line at satan, but then that's just me...

Just my humble opinion, but I'm one of those who literally has to "see to believe." I'm sure if I saw that burning bush in front of me I'd be quick to develop a profound belief. However, until then I tend to believe that my heaven is here on earth and I'd better make the most of each day. I sometimes envy those who have such a firm belief.
My cousin and I were raised the same way, in a very conservative (and stifling) religion. Her upbringing "took" while mine just left me with a lot of guilt trips. When we talk about it she says "She has to believe because to do elsewise would give her no reason to live."
I really don't believe that all of our evolution from a single cell somewhere back in time had no plan I'm just not sure how the plan started and evolved. I know I'm not in control (tho I still try to be) but I'm not sure who or what is. That from a control freak is disconcerting to say the least.
I go from trying to control the world to letting go of everything. Kind of like that metronome on top of a piano, swinging from side to side. . . . I do like to discuss these things, but it's hard to get "deep" enough when you aren't face to face. Perhaps someday we'll have a chance to meet in person and do that. Have a great day Linda.

I would love to talk to you one day. You seem to have a lot of postive energy, and I think that rocks!
I will leave you for now with this little quote, perhaps you have heard it before:
"Religion is for people afraid of going to hell, spirituality is for people who have been there".
I love talking to you...smile.
