The flu is bad here too right now. I had a flu shot last fall and just hope it's still protecting me.
I got home from my morning aerobics class to find that the puppies had started removing the lineoleum from their bedroom floor. We had meant to replace that floor eventually anyway...but not yet. I heard myself say to the pups, "Wait until your Grampa sees this!"
He'll probably laugh...

Those puppies are a trip!!! They are helping grandpa with the redecorating,I hope he appreciates their efforts,and of course,grandpa he is!

Nice weekend here. More rain started last night. Scale is finally inching down again. YEAH!
Onederland here I come. Found a dress I'd never worn that fits now. Wore it to an Oscar party last night. It was great to dress up, something I rarely do, and spend time with some wonderful folks. Back at work today and grateful to have a good job. No big changes in the menu today.

We took M&M out for lunch yesterdy. My salad had stalks of celery around the edges which Melanie proclaimed to be "YUCKY". She and Matthew saw me eating the celery and decided it was fun to feed grandma. They raced to see who could stuff me faster - boy did I have to chew quickly or choke. It was fun though.

Hi Linda, I'm struggling. It has been the name of the game for a couple mo. now. I have been trying to lose a few pounds I put on, and I'm getting discouraged. The scale moved up 2 lbs. rather then down. Today, I'm getting serious. I had a high protein drink for breakfast, lunch will be cottage cheese, and dinner will be chicken in some form. I have to stay focused on losing these pounds. I didn't go through all this to gain any weight back. No gain is the only gain acceptable to me.
I'm regrouping and getting back on track. Take care.
