highjack.  Jan, when are you having the tummy tuck?  Also, does medicare pay for that procedure.  I had one done after the first two hundred pounds but the surgeon said it would need to be done again when I lost the rest of my weight, and here I am with tissue issues.  LOL.  I think our insurance will pay some but if medicare will pay too, that would be great.  And, where are you having your's done?  The surgeon who did the original one has retired, so I need to plastics shop.

Hiya Cheryl,I am so sorry to hear about your husband's job. It is true,we must count our blessings,I thank God every day for keeping me going.
Update on the date is on food thread. Long story short,he is kind,I could never be to him what he wants me to be.
I am remembering you,and sending you good vibes. I hope someone remembers the health care promises made!
Hugs,dear lady.

Cindy, Do you live near Newport, OR?  I used to live near there and they had the best wine/seafood festival in Feb.

Woke up this morning to at least 8 inches of snow and it's still coming down at 11:20  a.m.   Did make it to church, the grocery store for cottage cheese, and home again.  Now, I'm staying in for the rest of the day.

I am so delighted with my pouch working so good.....I am down 7 1/2 lbs. since last Wednesday......I am also drinking green tea (decaf) three times a day.....don't know if that helps but it sure can't hurt.  Hopefully this will continue until I get below 200 in May when my surgeon comes here to speak.   I want to look good for him.....isn't that crazy????

No plans for today......did have a dumping incident after eating lunch yesterday....it was turkey taco meat on some lettuce and it didn't set good at all.....funny, because I had eaten it the day before and was just fine.  Baking some chicken breasts today - will see how that goes.

George, my heart goes out to your friend losing her son......will keep her in my prayers.

Linda S -- you little stinker - sounds like you've found a really good guy -- hey, he doesn't have a brother by any chance????

Have a blessed Sunday all,
Pat R..

pat; my mom is on her way to sturgis -i think today- she is coming down for gramma's 91st birthday  ! i don't envy her the drive down!!!

I get up every morning determined to both change the world and have one hell of a good time. Sometimes this makes planning my day difficult.

Val, we live in Newport. We've been here for six years -- and can you believe that we've never been to the festivals (there are two each year).  Anyway, we avoid crowds so we don't go.

How long ago did you live here?

What a small world, huh?
