Hi, Everyone.

Can't sleep and got up tgo check in on OFF and saw that no one had yet started today's thread.

Hope you have a good day today.  We're headed off to the grocery store early this a.m.  This weekend is the Seafood and Wine Festival and the crowds are something we try to avoid.  Hopefully, we'll miss the throngs of people by shopping early.

Hugs to everyone.

Hi Cindy   today and tonight and tomorrow we are taking care of the two great grandbabies age 2 and 3 while their mommy and daddy move, (my granddaughter) she said that  she cant believe that her grandma is the only person she can really depend on lol she couldnt have 3ho years ago i wouldnt have been able to do this. but now i can run, roll on the ground, play and walk with them until they get tired. and we do a lot of that when we have them so that they will get tired and go to sleep early....lol method to the madness right but is great exercise for me..

have found a gymn that accepts the new medicare program that pays for the gymn , both of us plus our neighbors will be joining.... i think that is one of the best things that medicare has come up with so far....

have lost about 5 pounds in the last month after not losing anything for a year...now only 15 pounds away from my lowest goal weight....i have an appointment to get my panniectomy done ...hopefully that let s me get into size 8s comfortably....i am developing my muscle tone back into my legs and they arent looking as flabby as they were.
hope all is well....

Jan,

Did you make that call to Dallas?  Are you getting your panni done here or just the facelift?

Was up at 5:30 to tinkle, then jumped back in the sac****il 7 a.m.....looked outside and there wasn't any snow yet.....now at 8:15, it's snowing, blowing, and miserable.
Well, I'm staying inside today so that's good.....prayers for those who have to travel in this stuff.

Thanks for getting us started Cindy .....glad to see you on here.  My niece is named Cindy and she's doing a 5K in Indianapolis today -- the weather is supposed to be cold and blustery.....she's a whole lot braver than me.

I am happy to report that staying on track for the last three days has yielded a loss of six pounds.....hurrah!
So the "tool" works just like it should, when we follow the rules.

Need to clean my house this morning and not much else going on.....started a book yesterday, and will watch golf this afternoon, have undies in the washer.

Stay safe and warm,
Pat R.

Morning Pat,

Luckily we didn't get any snow that was predicted and it's in the 30s.  So hopefully it wasn't too bad for Cindy's 5K.  You should've come with her and spent the day with us.  Can't wait to see you again.

Good Morning Cindy! Are you home for a while? Mike and I will be in Lincoln City March 29-31st and we'd love to see you and Ron.

I'm so tired of cloudy and foggy and cold. We have had a couple of days with a glimmer of sunshine but not much. Not much else going on around here. Have friends arriving in a few hours for lunch from out of town. Have to hit the store too. This is the friend I'm going to Italy with and we are making plans. Gotta run,

Karen:

Ron's mom has been diagnosed with dementia and can no longer live alone or drive.  So, we brought her back to Oregon with us and are getting her settled in her new apt. at the assisted living place where my mom is.

We'll be going back to CA in a couple of weeks for a while to empty out her house and get it ready to turn over to a property management company to rent.  The housing market is so poor that it's a bad time to try to sell plus she can use the revenue from the rented house to help with her living expenses.

We are running ourselves ragged.  It's tough having our two mom's in the same shape at the same time.

I think we'll be back by the end of March.  I'll email you when we return to see if we can get together while you're in our neck of the woods.

We'd love to see you and Mike.
