Hey Eileen,

Thanks for your good wishes, I think Dillinger is going to make it through and then I will see him to the end with all the love I can give him.

Hope your knee continues to improve, glad you are getting more optimistic about it!

Hugs, Laureen

Today I have to finish getting things together for vacation tomorrow. We leave at 8:15am and should be on the ship by 3pm. We have an hour and a half layover in Atlanta. I checked the weather in Grand Cayman Island and Cozumel and its in the low 60's to low 70's. Thats like a heat wave compared to the 16 it is here in Pittsburgh this morning. I already have a little tan thanks to a tanning special offered where I have my hair cut.
Can't wait to leave.

Laureen,
Even though its cold in NYC/Jersey I am hoping the sun shines on you and your precious doggie. If I could bring it back for you I would.
This is the first time we went on vacation during the winter months. Really looking forward to it. The kids are counting the minutes until we leave.

Oooh, you will love those stops. Grand Cayman is lovely, see the turtle farm for sure and the swim with the stingrays is the best thing to do. I really loved the Mayan ruins on Tulum the last time I was on Cozumel, but it's an all day trip and very draining, but very interesting. I couldn't do it the first time I was there because of my weight and my knees, so last year I was able to despite my knees ... funny how taking off 180 pounds made such a difference.

Enjoy the cruise!

Eileen,
Two cruises ago my daughter and I did the stingray encounter. It was a lot of fun. This time we may do swim with the dolphins. We really want to parasail and jet ski again. I did it 97 lbs ago so nothing will stop me this time. My weight never held me back from doing anything as long as I fit into whatever I needed to fit into. I even went white water rafting with a wet suit on,it was a XXL but I put it on and had fun.

Good Morning Laureen, Sending positive thoughts Dillinger's way. Hoping he'll soon be back home with you and healing and not in pain. I hate seeing anyone or anything suffer.

After a couple of nice days we were back to damp and foggy yesterday. My son came to visit for a few days from the wet west side of the state. I think when his car came over the pass that he brought that nasty wet weather right behind him! Maybe he'll take it back when he returns tomorrow. It's been nice to have him home and to catch up on his busy life. He teaches 8th grade social studies in the Seattle area. My "baby" will be 28 in April! He's still single but has a "sidekick" named Kristin that we absolutely love. Keeping my fingers crossed on this one. He is so "random" and she is so "concrete". I'm sure they drive each other crazy at times but what a cute red headed couple they make!

I've been walking with my neighbor most days this week. Scale is not budging, but I'm trying to eat healthy and exercise. Plan to get my sewing machine out today and finish the little sweatshirt/pants outfits that I started for the twins last summer. Baseball season starts soon so I want to have them ready for them to wear to their daddy's games. He coaches the high school team.

Sending healthy happy thoughts to all of you. Remember to not sweat the small stuff; it's mostly small stuff! That way you'll have the energy to deal with the stuff that warrants it!

Hi there Karen!

Nice to see you this morning and yes, I'm with you on not wanting to see anyone or anything suffer, so I will do whatever it takes to keep my boy comfortable, I am truly hoping that he comes home on Sunday.

Hope you enjoy the rest of the visit with your son and hope he and his sidekick work out, enjoy making the twins their outfits.

Hugs, Laureen
