Leave Darlene Alone

At the risk of starting yet another major drama, I reluctantly write this post.  To all of you who are sending Darlene those hateful notes, she had nothing to do with the post that I wrote about this not being a christian board but a weightloss board.  And to you guys who cannot seperate people who think differently from yourselves into just other people but the "other", I have to say, get over yourselves.  If you want to blast someone in email, bring it on, but leave Darlene alone.  She has done nothing to warrant such persecution. 
And for those who think that I with all my powers changed the board from that great board that it was previous to me giving you my opinion, thank you; however, what I see is the same shameless post, with the exception of the few *****ally spark dialogue and those *****lay information vital to wls folks.  What I don't miss are the updates from the trailer park.  LIfe is grand.

Ummm,  ahh, errr ... .  I live in a manufactured home community.

Jane, I didn't mean that the way it came out.  I meant it metaphorically in the same way that I use poor white trash.  I am poor white trash; therefore, I can say it and when I say it, I don't mean that everyone who is poor and white and a bit on the trashy side is ignorant; likewise, I don't mean everyone who posts from manufactured homes is posting crap.  It was metaphorical. 

Now I'm poor white trash?  Keep digging that hole, girlfriend!

Truly, I'm just yanking your chain, metaphorically speaking. 

And besides,

1.  I like Darlene
2.  Mine is a DOUBLEWIDE, so there.

Pass the Moon Pies and Mountain Dew.  Or the Pabst and Marlboros.  Or at least the cheese doodles and popcorn, I need my vegatables.

And besides, the govenor of Arkansas lived in a double wide manufactured home for a year while they redid the govenor's mansion.  If the weather here weren't so fierce, I'd consider one myself.  While you pass around the cheese doodles, hand me one of them there possum legs. 

It may not be a Christian board but that doesn't mean we can't pray for someone if that is how we feel and think that they might appreciate it!!

As for Darlene I don't know her and have never pm'd her so that doesn't affect me. 

Trailer parks can have great people living in them and expensive houses can have jerks!!

Then, obviously, this post doesn't pertain to you. If you are not sending Darlene hate mail, then why bother to respond to this post?  It was not meant to start trouble, but it was  meant as a plea to stop the hate mail to a dear friend of mine.  The religious post was done and is over with.  If you want in on that discourse, head back a few hundred posts.
