Good morning everyone. Quick question.
oh lord yes sweetie but you just smile a lot and it covers some of it up lol ...i am so thankful for the weight loss that the wrinkles are a small price to pay...but i am trying to get the money together to have a face lift.....hopefully by winter.

Rosey,
I think it depends on heredity and so on, I, for one, do not have more wrinkles, but I have an olive complexion and a good gene pool to draw off of, I do have the turkey neck thing, but at this age, even women who've never had weight issues have some neck thing, I just hold my head high and use my smile muscles that much more ;)
Hugs, Laureen

My Mantra is that I do not determine my success by the number hanging in my closet, nor will I let the scale determine that success either. . . It is through trial and error I will continue to grow and succeed. . . Laureen

LOL - at least there is honesty here. Laureen, I have olive complexion too, so hopefully if I have WLS, I won't have too many wrinkles either. I think feeling better and being half my weight would be worth a few wrinkles. I'll know more as time goes on. In the very early stages of planning at this point. Have a great Tuesday!
I've not noticed a problem with my facial skin, and trust me, I had a very heavy face! I have always worn mosturizer and never leave the house without my makeup on so I think that has helped keep my skin in good condition. Add to that, my mom (who will be 78 this year) looks like she is in her late 50's/early 60's so I'm sure the gene pool plays into the equation.

Ahhh, thank you sweetie! I'm going to have to start sending you cash if you keep these compliments up (fyi: The checks in the mail, keep em' coming, you're so good for my ego!)
Yes, please let me know how the appointment goes. The first informational session I went to I think I was overwhelmed! Thank goodness I had a wonderful surgeon who made sure I understood every little detail (and he was really easy on the eyes, what a hottie he is!)
