What a WOW moment I had last night....  DH, a friend and I went to see a movie last night and I fit in the seat with room left over!  I FIT!!!  I didn't have to squeeze down between the arms, I didn't have to suck my shoulders in as I sat between two studly guys, I didn't have to contort myself into every kind of position possible simply so I would have a little free room... I FIT IN THE SEAT AND I WAS COMFORTABLE!  Hell, I even crossed my legs!  It has been over four years since I went to a movie because of the discomfort and fear of being stuck in a seat.  What an amazing journey this has been and continues to be!

Happy Monday to the beautiful people here on the OFF!

(I still can't believe I fit!)

Thank you sweet Connie!  The movie was good (Taken) but, in all honesty, I spent less time paying attention to the movie and more time thinking how great it felt to be there and be comfortable!  (And it didn't hurt that I was sitting between two handsome guys!)

Oh, Teresa, the booth thing is a WOW moment as well!  The first time I tried a booth post WLS I held my breath in anticipation!  As it turned out I had more than enough room.  Aren't those moments amazing!

WOW!!  that is a WOW moment.  Isn't it funny that little things like this that "normal" weight people take for granted, mean so much to us WLS people?  I enjoy being able to reach down and trim my toenails and paint them myself now.  Also, crossing my legs and sitting INDIAN STYLE on the floor.....and the list goes on.  Good for you Katherine.  You are such a beautiful lady.

My goodness, Sandy, I need to compile a list of things that I do now that I couldn't even begin to attempt a year ago.  The first time I crossed my legs I did it without even thinking.  I looked down and realized they were crossed, yelled for my husband to come look and then sat there and cried tears of happiness!  Yes, the list goes on and on.

Also, thank you so much for the wonderful compliment, you're such a sweetheart.
