Back from my mini vacation
Well, we are back from our mini vacation.
Jeanne B, CoCo Key Resort is fun. Your grandkids will love it. You can't really swim necessarily, but there is a lot to do. They have this huge waterslide that goes outside (covered) and I heard it was dark going through the tunnels, but the kids had fun. At first my grandson didn't want to do that one. But once he did, he kept going on it. I went on one water slide, it was fun. Then they have the area where you can ride the inner tubes around and around. It is geared mostly for kids, but fun for the kid at heart also. We went for a couple hours last night after we got there, then we ate and took the kids to the arcade area to rest awhile and let their food settle, then we went back to the water area.
When we went back that evening my daugher and I went over to the spa and sat in there. It was so warm and felt so good to relax.
We had my grandson and two of his friends, they were good, a little hyper but not too bad for having junk food in them from the Valentine party.
Then this morning we let them play in the arcade again and then let them go back to the water resort for an hour or so. Then we took them to this place in Kansas City that they can play basketball, it is called the College Basketball Experience and it is in the new Sprint Center in KC
That was fun but very noisy. It was like being at a whole bunch of basketball games all at once.
Now grandma is tired. It will be nice to be in my own bed tonight.
