Just had to pop in and tell you how surprised Gary was!  Twenty-six years of marriage and it's the first time I've ever been able to totally catch him off guard. He couldn't stop thanking me for being so thoughtful....also a little unusual.

So, a good time was had by all.

Everyone enjoy the rest of their days!

Good morning Laureen and everyone.......

I am trying to get myself going this morning. Been isolating too much this week. Dwayne has big plans for us this weekend and I need to get out of this funk I am in!!

Nic has NO new Cancer....YAY!!!! That is wonderful news!!  We were getting worried as he hasn't had any kind of treatments since before Christmas and he does have  active  Neuroblastoma cells in his body. We should know more, by next Friday ,the results of the urine tests sent to NY. Then we will know what is in store for the next year. Thanks to all of you for the prayers, good thoughts, and good vibes. Thanks to all of you that visit Nic's site ...and those who leave messages too. It means alot to Nic and all of us...........  caringbridge.org/visit/nicroney

Sad to hear about the plane crash in NY. Anyone have family members or friends on that flight?? What a tragedy!!

I am sending good thoughts and smiles to you all!!

Prayers to those in need. Special prayers for dear sweet Linda S!!

Brenda....thanks once again for the phone call yesterday....you are the sweetest!!

Love and hugs to all.......connie d

Connie,

Hopefully, Dwayne's big plans are just what you need to get you out of the doldrums, which probably has a lot to do with this loooong winter we seem to be having, well at least, it's been a winter like we haven't had in years in my neck of the woods. . .

Also great news about Nic, hopefully the urine tests don't turn up anything unusual, I will continue keeping Nic in my positive thoughts and prayers.

Hugs, Laureen

Great news about Nic!!!  We'll need details of Dwayne's big plans.  Our son was telling me last night what he has planned for his new gf for Valentine's Day.
Enjoy your weekend!  Debbie

Debbie.....this is the plan......well one of them....

Dwayne said he made reservations for us to go to Burger King. He said I can order ANYTHING I want off the dollar menu...wooohoooo!! He said thay also have coloring books and even a crown just for me!! He asked me weeks ago if  I prefered a window seat...LOL....it goes on and on!!
However, he did mention that we will need to dress up!!!!

My so called best friend ruined it.....she said she talked to Dwayne and he really isn't taking me to Burger King. She  kind of spoiled the surprise. I think jealousy plays a big part in that. She has never had a Valentines date in her life. Never a serious relationship either. She  always had a crush on Dwayne. I feel bad for her but she didn't need to spoil the surprise for me!!

I will have a great time even if we do go to Burger King!!!

I will let you know how it goes!!

Connie, I think we need to invent a spray of "Funk B-Gone" for those of us who get down in the dumps.  I think Dwayne's idea of Burger King and the crown sounds darling. Forget about that "friend" and just go with it. I know what ever you do will be loads of fun.

So very, very glad to hear about Nic, and of course, good thoughts and well wishes continuing his way.
