Here it is Thursday and so what is up with your food for the day? Mine is going to be just a normal run of the mill day and I think that Harpo is going to like that.

Here it goes:

B: whole grain muffin with cheese
S: fruit
L: chicken salad with whole wheat crackers
S: ?
D: boneless pork chop with steamed veggies
S: sf pudding

Hope your day is not a good one but a great one! I am sending lots of big old hugs and love to go with them. Remember to smile pretty!

Good morning Brenda!!

Depression has really come around and bit me in the a$$ this week. My appetite is not so great.

I will do my best to get in my protein and water.

Keep your chin up, dear one! Things will get better. We can't be where we are forever so better days are a comin', sister Connie.

Revision on 08/16/12
Brenda,

My project for the day is going back to the eye doctor.  Last week he put a plug in one of my tear ducts (to keep the eye more moist), but it's driving me crazy - blurry vision, tears dripping down my face - so I'm having him take the plug out.

Also doing endless laundry (dog bedding).

B: peanut butter banana protein shake
S: iced skinny latte
L: chicken, stuffed mushroom
S: yogurt
D: Korean style pork rib, eggplant puree
S: chocolate cherry cookie (made w/ Splenda & SF chocolate)

Jean, things are looking pretty good with you. That is a wonderful thing.....even with the endless baby laundry.

I love to see the things that you are eating since you always have some things that sound so good. You should make a cookbook of your own.

Have a wonderful one today and make sure you hug the babies for me.

Bev, it is so good to see you posting with us. I know that sometimes things get tough and the only thing we can do is hang on for dear life and keep on keeping on.

Writing down the food we are planning on eating for the day is a good start. It makes me, for one, feel more accountable to what I have told someone that I will eat. Of course, there is times that I must go with the flow and things can change but for the most part I keep it what I said I would.

When I read your having pineapple, that sounds so good. I just love that. I need to have some of that too. Maybe for the snack between breakfast and lunch. Thanks for the idea!

Just remember one thing.....we are here for support if you ever need us.

Hi, Carla, I am glad to see that you have your priorities in order and had you Starbucks! That is a good thing~at least to you~I on the other hand can't stand their coffee. ha ha  I know I am nuts!!!

It was good to talk to you last night. I wish that you could just eat a bit more. You need more than just 600-650 calories a day. Just eat something and don't worry about not tasting it. Then one day you will eat something and the taste will have come back. Just my opinion but why not give it a try?

Sending love............
