Well, gang, it is hump day and so the week is half over today. That is a wonderful thing. The week end is that much closer!

Today is going to be spent here at home doing what I want to do. Yeah right on that one. It is going to be spent on housework and home work for Sunday. Oh well, a lady can dream can't she?

Food for today is going to be good. I have made that decision and I am sticking to it.

B: sf oatmeal with 1/4 cup of sunflower kernels
S: fruit
L: deli turkey and cheese
S: slim fast low carb shake
D: chicken and veggies
S: sf pudding

That is what Harpo is getting whether he likes it or not. I am in charge here not him! Yeah right again on that one. If Harpo isn't happy neither am I. We all understand that one!

Have a wonderful day and I am sending everyone love and hugs to with them as they go about their busy day.

Michelle, I am here now. I love this forum and feel very comfortable here. Floyd is on here too. I just love this place. Hope you lurk and post too. Let everyone get to know you. I think you will like it here too. There is no drama or judging we just accept each other for who and what they are.

Brenda,

Housework is never ending!  Just as soon as you think you're done, it's time to start over again.

I talked to my aunt (my mom's sister) on the phone yesterday.  She said, "Aren't you bored, being out of work?"  I said, "Um, no.  Not with a house and 7 dogs to take care of."

B: chai tea protein shake
S: iced skinny latte
L: coconut shrimp, cauliflower
S: yogurt
D: roast chicken, stuffed mushrooms
S: chocolate chip cookie (made w/ Splenda & SF chocolate morsels)

Jean, I guess it is like the old saying "A woman's work is never done" goes. I never thought it was the truth but that was a major mistake on my part!

I love coconut shrimp. I love any kind of shrimp in fact. I might have that for dinner tomorrow now that I think about it. Thanks for the idea.

Wow! I can't get over 7 dogs. But most of them puppies! They are a lot of work and they are so darn cute. I just don't think I could bring myself to have them leave. What are you planning on doing with the puppies?

Brenda,

I'm not sure what we're going to do with the puppies.  We're so attached to them now, and I couldn't possibly pick a favorite.  And we have such high standards for prospective parents - would want them to have a psychological evaluation, criminal background check, home visit, references, etc. etc!

Morning Brenda and Pat and welcome Michelle.  I'm looking forward to my first follow up appointment with the local bariatric surgeon after work.  Not feeling so worried about the financial situation at work today and the eating plan is on track except that I need to exercise more regularly.  I anticipate taking the dog for a walk after my Dr appt. if it isn't raining too hard.

B coffee/ protein bar
S banana
L chili
S protein drink
D chicken/eggies
S Skinny Cow fudgecycle

Have a happy and healthy hump day.  CV Linda
