DH in ER
Dear OFF family, please keep George in your prayers. He went to the ER yesterday afternoon with pains in his chest, left shoulder, and rib cage area. He called me at work to say if he wasn't feeling better in a few minutes, he would leave work and go to the urgent care clinic. A few minutes later, he called again to say he was going to the ER. For him to even think ER, I knew he felt bad. I left work and met him there. He was already being seen - EKG taken, blood drawn, etc. The ER doc admitted him. More tests will be done today. They haven't ruled out anything yet, including the possibility of a mild heart attack. Danny, our ER nurse son, came to see him and was able to talk to the nurses. I have a list of questions for the doctor. As soon as I get showered and have breakfast, I'm heading to the hospital. George wants me to go to work, but Danny pulled me aside and said I should be at the hospital "just in case". Like I'd be anywhere else. All I could think was, Dear God, don't take him now, we just celebrated our 37th anniversary last week.
Thanks, Debbie
Thanks, Debbie

Debbie - Certainly you and George are in my thoughts today. Glad you have your son to help with the medical terminology and to help you think straight right now. So much information is thrown at you it is hard to remember everything and then be able to digest the info.
Keep us updated when you can.
