Crocuses
Hey everyone - I looked out my bedroom window yesterday and saw something green poking up out of the ground. I was convinced that it couldn't be anything growing because it has been so cold, but, lo and behold, I have a group of crocuses 
sprouting!!! Here in the Great White North of southwestern Ontario, Canada. What do you think of that?
Does anyone else have any green "stuff" coming up? Ohio or Michigan or New York?? Anything up?? Makes me think that there will really be a spring this year, after all.

Crocuses are blooming arent they just the sweetest little things? daffodills are up about 3 inches as well as tulips.....lilacs have buds on them as well as the dogwood trees, and two weeks ago was the big ice storm here, Spring come on and spring,,,,,

It got up to 65* here today but it was so windy. The winds were 24 mph with gusts up to 32 mph. It is now almost 8 p.m. and the temperature is still 55*.
Eileen got me on to the Weather Channel on my computer. It shows the page for Portage and then there is an icon for the temperature down by the clock. It is nice to see that and know what it is outside. Pretty cool. It shows the storm warnings and watches too. Nice to know those too.
I don't see anything blooming but someone told me the other day that they saw the first robin so maybe spring is getting ready to be here. I sure hope so winter is so very depressing.
I had the door and windows open this afternoon. Now I have the furnace on so go figure! And to top that off I am sitting here wrapped in my extra warm Lucy throw.

Nuthin growin here, but its 11:15PM right now and the temp is still 53, thats a nice change. Supposed to get rain and high winds tonight and tomorrow though, Then cold again and possible snow showers this weekend. Some folks have reported that they have seen robins though, so maybe there is hope for Indiana after all!! LOL
I can't wait to sit on the swing on the patio and read a good book and sip on a glass of tea! CMON SPRING!

OMGosh , No kidding . That is so exciting. I have plenty but haven't looked to see if anything is sprouting yet. I sure will look on my way home. Ahhh glorious spring!! But I am not fooled, we have dreadful March's around here. Snow predicted for this weekend, oh well ,the couple of nice days were a nice break ..and a promise of things to come..Thanks for sharing
