monday-what's new???
Hi Margo and everyone:
Geez, no one missed me? I sure missed getting on the board this weekend. I called around to a couple of places about getting my computer fixed. My new modem came from AT&T, and with help from tech support, I was able to get online in Safe Mode, but not normal mode. So something is going on in my computer. All the tech people I talked to today said it's probably a virus or I need to have my computer cleaned or defragged ... almost everyone is about the same price, except for AT&T's tech help, which is really expensive. I'll pick one tomorrow and set up an appointment. Hopefully, someone can fix my computer and I can get back online. Everything is locked up ... I can't even scan anything or print.
I had my appointment with the pain doc today and then came home, had lunch, took a nice long nap before coming to work. I have my usual biz pages plus the Sunday Lakeshore section to work on. I'll get as much done as I can before pooping out.
The weekend was uneventful. I didn't do much either day: Saturday I went out to get a stool for the kitchen so I can sit when I cook or bake (no place before that), so that will help ... wasn't going to go out but my chili was getting too soupy and I didn't have any tomato paste left, so I had to go buy some. So I went to Lowe's to buy the stool ($21) and some felt pads so it won't scratch my floor. Yesterday, I didn't do much of anything. I really needed the rest. I was very tired after my first week back.
This week it's more of the same ... lots of appointments every morning. Busy, busy, busy.
