monday-what's new???
Hey Margo and Everyone!
It's Monday. I'm up. It's very windy outside with the promise of yet another rainstorm coming. Good weekend as hubby is feeling well once again. Finally got to visit with our little grandson yesterday. Between hubby being sick and grandson with a cold - we'd kept them apart for over a month. I needed my little 2-year old "fix."
Back to work again this morning. Busy time at work so the day will fly by.

Just got to work and about to get busy! I have been loading up on s/f hard candies. Love the cinnamon ones from Giant Eagle. YUM!
We are doing a healthshare challenge at work this month, I'm the captain because no one else would do it. I did work out 3 times last week and actually lost 1.5lbs I think! whooo! not from eating particularily well, but a loss is a loss! Not much new around my house, seems like it was a busy weekend. Friday night Gary and I went to dinner then looked at furniture. Saturday he called and we went to another local churches chili cook off then to my parents to play cards. Yesterday we had lunch with my parents and then I went to his house to work on his computer for him. Don't know if I helped or hindered, but at least now he can open his e mails! LOL
Back to work this week, it surely would be nice to hear our team hit the lotto this week and we could all retire, but somehow I doubt that will happen. Oh well, such is life.....Have a great day all!

GO OD MORNING MARGO !!!!!!! hello and wake up it is monday ,,,,lol i know how you love Mondays lol think of it as a new beginning. we are almost Home....like about 4 more hours of riding and we are racing the rain.....suppose to start raining about noon so we have to get going.....now that we are that close we are anxious to get home and see what all we have to clean up after thatr horrible ice we had while we were gone.....thank God that we have no damage to our house.....

Good morning to you Margo and my OFF family. I sure hope that it is a good Monday for everyone.
This morning we are going into Merrillville for Bill to get his eyes checked and new glasses. They are having a special for the exam and the glasses so I can't beat that. We can't use the insurance but with the specials we will save more money. So........that is the way to go.
We ran around some yesterday. We got Bill's car all cleaned up and the seat covers on. OMG it was so dirty. All I wanted to do was keep washing my hands. I have a compulsion about having dirt on my hands. I know there is a name for that and yes..........I do have it in many ways! But the important thing is that the car is clean and I told him he better keep it clean too. I know that the coke dust gets in there no matter how sealed the car is but come on.........clean it more often and it won't get that bad.
It is cold out but not really. The temperature is 32* with a wind chill of 26* but it is cloudy and frosty out. Looking at that makes me cold. The furnace is running more often but I have to remember that it is still winter out. I guess tomorrow they are calling for temperatures in the low 60's and that is nice. I am going to open my door and windows if that happens. I have to try to get the stale winter air out of here. I am taking full advantage if the temps get that high.
Hey Margo, Misty just got done looking out on the back 40 acres and she told me that she would let you come and watch with her. She would like some company. I know that you said that you wanted to be able to do that to get away from life so the invitation from Misty is open. Heck, I am nice and would even get you a chair so you won't have to sit on the floor with her. Gosh! I am nice even in my old age!
I better get going. I got to look at my mail before I go to get ready to go to the eye doctor. I am sending love and hugs to all and prayers/special thoughts are going up for you all too. Have a wonderful day and remember to smile! You use more muscles doing that! And we are all for exercise aren't we? : )

I have a busy day off. The usual cleaning/laundry/grocery store with lots of extras thrown in. Seems the local Drug Emporium is discontinuing Nectar protein mixes and have them 1/2 price. They only have 2 of the Fuzzy Navel, so I'll get those and maybe the Crystal Sky. The don't expire until 2011, so it will be ok to have them around. Then, I guess I'll have to go back to paying for shipping when I need them.
Tess and I did up a bunch of Valentine gift bags for the salon with the old packaging of Saint Bella. Gotta get rid of the old to make way for the "new and improved", so hopefully pretty packaging and lower prices will move it out!
I'm struggling to keep the AR board alive. Lots of folks with issues that are either keeping them aaway, or they're eating the wrong stuff (because of their issues) and don't want to fess up. So, I guess there's some hand holding to be done there. Question is; who's gonna hold my hand? It's hard to be the only cheerleader on the squad.
Ok.....it's off to work I go. Hope you all have a wonderful Monday. Even though you can't trust that day.

Good morning Margo & all. Well today we close on the house we bought. The kids moved in Sat. My house is so quiet. Now I just have to get mine clean.
Dh leaves for Florida on Thursday. Part of me is looking foreward to it, but the other part is not. I know for the first week I will love it. Hope it warms up soon so I can start work in the garden. We still have about 1 1/2 ft. of snow so I know I am pushing it. I have started some of my bulbs in the house. If I don't they don't bloom until the end of July!

Good Monday Morning!!
We went out early to get my tires balanced and the oil changed. Gotta get to these places early if you don't wanta wait for hours! I knocked off a weight hitting a curb yesterday. OOOPS!!!
Then hurried home for my one hour phone interview for the Sister Study. They called to reschedule. They have computer problems. RATS! If I'd known that, I'd have finished my errands earlier!
I have to go to the attorney to sign a 'quit claim deed' to have my DH's name put on the title to this house. Something that should have been done 4 years ago when we got the original mortgage!! It's a VA loan, he's the vet, I have no income, how could they have missed this one step? This will cost us $125! It was NOT listed as part of our original closing, so they say we have to pay now. RATS again!
Last week we had a record low temp around here - 17, yesterday we had a record high temp - 73. Whats up with that!

Morning Folks.
Its gonna be another warm for Feb day here in Mich. The teen foster kids wanted to walk to school today it was so nice here. It sounds like Grammy is gonna need some time in a rehab center so the kids are gonna be here for a few weeks. I think we are going to go get their bikes. We take them where needed but if they can be a bit independent its better as they have to be with 89 yo great grandma. Id rather not have them get real dependent on us. MY cold seems to be developing into just a case of the sniffles so by the end of the week Ill still get to go see my mom. The teens have the day off school on Fri so I can leave the toddlers here with them and Steve for the day so they don't share cold germs with mom. I hate not getting to see mom every week as I'm afraid if I don't see her this week I might not have a next week with her being 95.
